MY EYES!! (x)
You have to keep choosing what is best for your health. It might be something like eating a healthy meal to nurture yourself instead of just another junk food dinner, it might be going to bed early instead of binge watching that series you want to, it might mean you won't consume triggering content even though people say it's good. Sometimes thinking about your health on the long run has to be your priority. You don't have to go overboard with it, but make sure you avoid falling into behaviors that hinder you, and try to recognize what is good for you and what is not. Don't be afraid to cut the bad things out. You can do this. You can care for yourself. You can learn how to do this.
A part of healing is remembering that you can make a different choice next time. Sometimes this in itself is the lesson.

so you dated the wrong person and learned a hard lesson. you chose the wrong major and had to start over again. you cherished a friend who backstabbed you. it sucks, but it’s also going to work out. that’s life; you learn, hurt, love, cry, laugh, and keep going. you experience setbacks and you grow and it’s all okay.

All mothers I’ve ever known were effectively single mothers, even when they had a husband.
a LOT of women agree with this but men like….. universally object its hilarious
case in point. And it’s actually the mom on a call and not the dad.
Tbh I predict a lot of post covid divorces. This is a very common story.
