Dahlia & some Laverna, Barbie Fairytopia (2005)

little bit of a ramble below:

i feel like they probably have a past together (like a bit more than what dahlia tells elina). i've been working on what exactly that was hehe

i remeber seeing a headcanon that laverna gifted dahlia her wings (there's a lot of visual similarities), and i like this. dryads aren't ever really shown with wings, but i also like that not every fairytopia species is born with wings. i think it would be interesting to look at regions with higher populations of wingless species, and how infrastructure is changed within this universe to accommodate, while keeping flying individuals in mind (and maybe still in the majority? idk)
