Beauty Among the Mundane, the title of this Tumblr, meshes perfectly with this product. It being a beautifully designed and made bag, yet mundane in the way of the color and there being many computer bags on the market today. I want to feature real, well made things, as well as write about them.
I’ve been looking for a good computer bag to carry my of my work stuff in: laptop, cords, writing items, etc. And at the same time look trendy. I’m really picky, as most bags don’t last long enough or have the functionality and style I want.
I like to carry everything in one bag rather than multiple. So why not design and make my own bag. I wanted it to be sleek, casual and dressy, unisex and incorporate mixed materials. In this case I used black Cordura and Neopreen for the body and pockets, black leather handles, black brass snaps, and a neon green YKK zipper. All materials are used in outdoor gear, so they are solid and can withstand the wear and tear. And the Neoprene is good for temperature control, so your computer doesn’t get too hot.
All production is done locally within the United States, by an amazing seamstress and designer based in Colorado- Stitchlines.
