Sara nodded. “Oh, well I think you’ll learn quickly!” She promised. “I was wondering if you were new this semester. I think I got my answer.” She teased with a wink. “And what’s your name?” She asked again, making sure to state everything clearly. 

Sara was hoping to be on the same team. He seemed nice already. Besides, she could help with his Italian. She felt like she couldn’t leave him on his own. “Well, how would you feel about being friends?” She asked curiously. She knew sometimes she could come off rather forward, but she was hoping it wouldn’t scare him off.

The girl was very forward, but Georgi appreciated it. She seemed like an honest person, like she would speak her mind. It was refreshing, even if Georgi wouldn’t catch every word. But then again, maybe he just liked her as the complete opposite of his ex.

“You’re right, I am new. And my name is Georgi.” He said. He reminded himself that people outside of Russia usually smiled more at strangers, and he conjured himself a little smile.

“I don’t think I caught your name, miss.” said Georgi, just before someone blew a whistle.

“I think they’re dividing up the teams. We should head over,”

As everyone was put into teams Sara was chosen before Georgi. She moved to her side, crossing her fingers in hopes for Georgi to be on her team.

She sipped it, letting out a long sigh. “Oh that hits the spot. I needed a pick me up.” She let her eyes wander back over to Otabek. “Are you here to practice too? Or just to watch?” She winked playfully.

“It’s my pleasure,” He brought his own cup up to his lips as she made her way over, feeling pleased by how content she appeared to be with the coffee in her hand. At the wink he was momentarily caught off guard, surprise threatening to display itself on his features, but he managed to settle for just a nod and something like a smile, “Mostly to watch.” No point in lying though he hadn’t come to watch because of those sorts of reasons. He’d just been curious.

Sara moved to hug Yuuri, smiling brightly. “Thank you again!” She beamed, letting go of Yuuri. “I’ll see you after class then!” She bounced up, before she hurried out of the room. The faster things got done the closer she’d be to finally doing the collaboration.

The hug shocked him, he waved as she ran off. Taking a deep breath to try, and recenter himself he turned the music back on. Yuuri did his best the rest of the day to focus on practicing.
