She tried not to count the minutes it took for Beckett to get to her. She didnât know what his schedule was. She knew it, but with everything that was going on at the moment, she couldnât remember it. She couldnât really think about anything at the moment other than getting home. That was all she could think about without bursting into tears, and she didnât want to do that. Especially when she had no idea when Beckett was getting here. She definitely didnât want that to be the first thing he saw. As much as she loved him, he had never been great around emotions. Especially hers. Thankfully, it wasnât nearly as long as she thought it might be before her door was slamming open, and her match was standing there. âBeck!â She reached over, ignoring the pain, and wrapped her arms tightly around his neck, burying her face in his chest. âTake me home. Please just take me home.â Noel murmured.Â
Even though he knew that not a lot of time passed as he made his way to the floor she was on it seemed like it was taking hours. He was panicking, he knew that he was, but he didnât want to admit it. This wasnât the kind of the Beckett had ever felt before. Sure he had been through a lot of things in his short life but he had never had this kind of panic and fear for another personâs wellbeing before. Noel was the most important person in his life and the thought of her being in danger made him sick to his stomach and so very angry. Angry because something told him that someone else had caused whatever was bothering her. When he reached her Beck didnât hesitate when wrapping his arms around her. âOkay, okay. Weâre going to go home. I got you. Can you walk?â He asked her softly as he helped her off the bed. Desperately he wanted to know what was going on, why she was in the hospital and what had her so upset. But right now he knew he just needed to get her home and then he could get some answers from her.
