It has been interesting to see how the Syrian Civil War had quieten in the media over the years. So after having done some reading, President Assad’s response to the on-going conflict of “every war is a bad war” starts to have its own twisted meaning. One that involves shelling and starving of rebel-controlled areas, in a cold-calculus way of attaining victory.

And what of the children? They live underground in constant bombardment, where food is hard to come-by. Likely to be traumatized in the long-run, where fond memories of childhood consist of war, bombs and destruction.
