Here’s a new painting of a character concept that I worked on as I was practicing working in Photoshop. I’m considering developing the concept further to use in future paintings, whether for practice or as I work to create new  original designs!

Mermaid for the end of August! I love all things beauty, and I was actually really inspired by @wetnwildbeauty-blog (specifically, the Midnight Mermaid collection) for the colors in this piece. I wanted to both practice and play with fun, vibrant colors! I doodled and painted most of her in @procreate and finished her in Photoshop.

“Luminous,” painted in @procreateapp and finished in Adobe Photoshop. Completion time was about 5 hours. I just wanted to have fun and paint something without anything particular in mind. It’s also been a good exercise to get back into Photoshop as well!
