I've isolated myself for so long that I forget the feeling of sunlight on my skin

Did I tell you all what my mom did for me this Christmas? This was the first Christmas I spent as Peter, instead of [deadname redacted], and she went above and beyond to make me feel accepted. Every year my sister and I get a new ornament to kind of represent the year we had, and this year I got the one pictured above.

Not only that, but she also went through and changed the names on all of the previous ornaments she could:

Then, with my sister’s help, my name was also changed on the stocking I’ve had since forever that my mom cross-stitched when I was a little kid:

So anyway I almost cried making this post and I have a really great family and I hope everyone can find people who support them so fully someday if you don’t already have that ❤️
