I am new to the site and wanted to introduce myself to you. I am a retired psychiatrist and recently found myself in a predicament that forced me to take some time off to recuperate.

All similarities with one "Bedelia du Maurier" are complete coincidences, but I will admit that I too find our resemblance to be uncanny.

You may ask me questions, as I think I will be quite bored these coming months, you see, I am a bit stuck in place.

(Bedelia doesn't remember who she is and only remembers what happened in her life up to 2009 due to reasons hinted at in this post)

I have gone through quite an ordeal two nights ago. I cannot believe that something like this could happen in such an isolated place.

Someone smashed one of my veranda's window. With a rock, or a message rock, I don't know how I should refer to such an object.

I am conflicted over whether or not I should read the message of the paper, if message there is.

However I can't seen to recall a face or a name, so I only have a timeframe of when I could have had contact with the individual.

And it was quite a long time ago but perharps I still have old journals that I used to write when I was a schoolgirl. They might give me a clue.
