So, I'm ABSOLUTELY unhappy with the process. The result is good, but the coloring??? It was hard to work with the black and white and the volume in the drawing, but that's understandable, I'm just learning. BUT the color, oh my god... when I applied the "color" mode to the layer, it looked like complete crap. I used some weird "flat light" mode, but it ruined the darkness and lightness, so it turns out all the work in black and white was useless. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong yet. I'll have to rewatch the tutorials and try again. In this work, it feels like I've done the same thing over and over again because I don't understand the steps yet, but I think I understand some things better now. And I still have black shadows, I still haven't tried experimenting with that.
