Loved the idea of a praying mantis dude that looks big and scary but is actually terrified of women (for obvious reasons) and is constantly terrorized by two very small ones even though he could make a snack out of them.
I am slowly building the world and am struggling a bit with the environmental design I want and the unspeakable amount of insects and other arthropods out in the wild that could all be good character inspiration (having millipedes and centipedes being a terrifying thing to come across, especially the giant ones). I am also constantly researching them but don’t want to limit myself by keeping them 100% biologically accurate, because at the end, they are inspired by bugs but aren’t bugs.
