People get very mad for a few days and then roll over and accept the change to the enclosure. This is what they are betting on. They have had meetings about this.

A ray of sun creeps through the window, landing perfectly on your closed eyes. Despite your best efforts to return to sleep, it proves to be much harder than you thought it would be. Your eyes remained closed as one hand reaches out to where your phone normally is to shut off the alarm that for some reason isn't ringing? No matter, you should get up for school right now and- Your hand touches something warm which then MOVES?? Your eyes fly open as you sit up in bed and swivel your head over to see what the hell is in your room. You take a few moments to adjust to the morning light before realising that the warm thing you touched seems to be an arm that belongs to someone. A someone that is dressed up as Illuga?? Why is there a cosplayer here...?
Ah. Your memories from the previous night rushing back alert you to the fact that this isn't your world. Judging from you being in Starsand Shoal previously, this must be Teyvat. Shoot, if this is Teyvat then this can't be an Illuga cosplayer.... This must be-!

"Are you feeling better? I found you unconscious in Starsand Shoal last night. Would you mind telling me what happened?" Illuga tactfully avoids mentioning the stranger's bandaged arm that still has traces of golden blood peeking through. Whoever they are and divine or not, they must be very disorientated and confused right now. It wouldn't be good for their recovery if he started interrogating them right now. Although, why do they keep staring at him as if he's some sort of cute puppy that they want to pet? It's unnerving him slightly but Illuga is composed enough to not show it as he expects their answer.
What Illuga is certainly not expecting is the stranger grabbing him by the shoulders and shaking him back and forth as they unleash a barrage of excited questions. The whole experience makes Illuga dizzy and it takes a while before he's able to comprehend what's happening and untangle himself from their hold. What the.... He was absolutely not expecting that to happen! Now he's a little scared of getting near them again....
~~~ As Illuga all but runs away from you, you sigh and sit back down. Woops, did you scare him away? You couldn't help it, you were just too excited to see your favourite character IN THE FLESH!!! Nevermind how this is possible, Illuga is right there! This is just like something that would happen in a fanfiction and also something you've spent 35 days, 10 minutes and 37 seconds wishing to be a reality! Snapping out of your thoughts and noticing his cautious look, you hold out a hand towards him like one might do to a startled cat.
āIām really sorry about thatā¦. Did I scare you? Cāmon, I wonāt do that again! Trust!!ā
Unfortunately, it seems youāve scared him off for good as Illuga quickly retreats and exits the room. Now youāre all alone in this big and empty clinic. Finally deigning it safe to check on your arm, you slowly unwrap the bandage and gasp at what you see. The gash is almost gone? Thereās still some tender pink skin around the area but most of the actual injury is fully healed. How is this possible- Oh my gods, donāt tell me you were reincarnated into a genshin SAGAU fanfic. What if thereās an imposter here too?? And acolytes coming to kill you??? And, and- Okay, calm down. Judging by Illugaās reaction, he didnāt recognise you which solves two of your biggest problems. One, there is no imposter here yet. Two, there isnāt a cult worshipping you yet. Phew, looks like youāre safe for now! You wonder where Illuga wentā¦..

When Illuga first heard of an āAll-Seeingā and āDivineā creator that ruled over and created the very world he lived in, he was skeptical. It sounded like a fairytale or maybe something a drunkard tottering out of The Flagship would mutter before spilling their guts out on the ground. Of course, that was until he met you.
Illugaās boots crunched against the sand of Starsand Shoal as he finished up his late-night patrol. After this, he would need to return to the Piramida to finish up the mountain of paperwork that most definitely had piled up by now. Maybe he could take a moment to rest his eyes on the boat ride back toā¦.What is that?
The warm glow of Illugaās lantern slowly illuminates a trail of golden blood leading all the way into that large cave in the cliffside. What theā¦. Heās never seen golden blood before, not even from an Abyssal creature. He should investigate immediately.

One moment you were farming artifacts for Illuga and the next, you were lying face down in the sand with the groans of the Wild Hunt near you. Before you could even orientate yourself, a serrated blade was slashing into your arm and spreading a blinding pain through your whole body. A strangled gasp left your mouth as you froze up, adrenaline pumping through your veins as time seemed to slow down. You saw the blade slowly coming down on you again and you felt yourself roll out of the way, get up and run into the nearby cave. (You remember that cave, wasnāt it the one the Travellerās spaceship crashed into? Maybe listening to the Nod-Krai archon quest had its perks.)
The sounds of battle float in from outside the cave as the sounds of the monsters conjured by the Wild Hunt being slain echo against the cave walls. You push down a frightened noise as you clamp your hands over your eyes and pray that whatever is killing those monsters doesnāt come for you next.
~~~ After dispatching of the Wild Hunt blocking the entrance to the cave, Illuga enters cautiously. His polearm at the ready and lantern in hand, he checks every corner of the cave while following the golden trail until he finds someone passed out, one arm oozing golden ichor into the water surrounding the small stone platform. The sight stuns Illuga for two reasons. The first reason is pretty obvious, no normal human would ever have golden blood. The second one is a bit interesting. You see, every single story Illuga has ever heard about the Divine Creator mentions them having āblood of gold that could heal Teyvatā. It sounded a bit stupid when he first heard it but now heās not so sure what to believe.
Illuga shakes his head to clear his head. No, he shouldnāt be thinking about that right now. His first priority should be treating that wound and then maybe he can transport them to a safer place. Whether they really are the Divine Creator or not doesnāt matter, he should help them all the same.
Pulling out a roll of bandages from the small med-kit he always keeps on his person, Illuga takes the strangerās arm gently and starts wrapping it up. Well this definitely wasnāt how he expected his patrol going. Oh man, the paperwork for this one is going to be insaneā¦.

to dahlia, live is about enjoying it to the fullest. the two of you have been long-time companions, be it for drinking or watching chaos unfold. with his preference for the whimsical life, it seemed like even the mere thought of settling down to pursue a relationship was unrealistic.
the day it hit him wasnāt even anything special. sermon in the morning followed by some errands with you during the midday. maybe it was the season of windblume that finally knocked the realisation into dahliaās head as he realised he could do this forever. be it chasing cats or having a cheeky laugh ā you were the only constance the blond wished for in his life.Ā

not at all surprising, given sethosā specific upbringing. a menace he was even as a child, but the entire deal with becoming the next leader of temple of silence and the rite of duels, did do itās on his psyche. itās wasnāt until later in life he realised that a dear friend of his should be read as more than a friend.
whoād knew all needed for this realisation was a tad bit of jealousy. sumeru city is a vast town, with people from every corner of teyvat ā some of those not realising that being too friendly can be problematic. like that one merchant who was set on trying to woo you into buying his goods. that guy should be lucky a threat of an arrow to the eye was the only one.Ā

Thinking about waking up next to Illuga in a modern au world because he deserves to be happy :3 Heās always getting up earlier than you (even if you set an alarm for like 3 am heās still awake first?? how???) to cook you a delicious and nutritious breakfast because āYou canāt get through the day without enough energy for your brain. Donāt worry about me and just go wash up, okay?ā
While youāre rushing to get dressed, Illuga is somehow already dressed for work with two freshly made bento boxes on the kitchen counter. He always waits for you, no matter how late it may make him (although he will hurry you if he has to). Once both of you are ready, itās off to take the train!!
If there are no seats, Illuga lets you lean against him and he definitely keeps an arm around you so people donāt accidentally jostle you in the crowded train. An empty seat popped up? Heās saving it for you and standing in front of you while you rest!
Lunch plans differ occasionally, but most lunch breaks are spent eating together as Illuga listens to you rant about your day and occasionally interjects with his own anecdotes. On especially hot days, Illuga always buys a small tub of your favourite ice cream for dessert.
Going home after work is essentially the same (crowded train, etc.) but actually being at home after work is the best!! If you prefer to decompress after work, heāll shower first while you are tasked with making dinner. Of course, Illuga is perfectly fine with switching this arrangement up if you want :D
After dinner, itās bedtime!! Illuga always makes sure to sleep at a respectable hour and heād be damned if he didnāt make sure you did too. āSufficient rest leads to a healthier bodyā, he would say as he shooed you off to bed.
