Luci helped them pick their animals long before they fell.

For Mammon, he had been feeling worthless because he struggled to remember the name of their fathers newer creations. Some of his kin had called him dumb as a bird. So, Lucifer showed him the Crow. They watched as it picked up a walnut and dropped it over and over again, Mammon only thinking it proved how stupid the bird was, only for the nut to crack and the bird to eat. He saw how smart the bird was and his big brother helped him offer the crow a little silver gem. The bird remembered them a few weeks later when they returned. Mammon didn’t stop talking about it for several months.

For Levi he had been scared of the long scaled thing that slid towards him at the beach. He had screamed and jumped into his brothers arm. Lucifer showed him the creature was scared too and that while it could be dangerous, it was also beautiful and smooth to the touch. Levi held the snake until they were called home.

Asmo had felt insecure. He was beautiful and often praised, but people didn’t believe him when he said he could fight and had a quick mind. Lucifer has shown him an in set that was small and unthreatening, but gorgeous isn’t he way it shone. The drop like point of its tail was beautiful, like a crown held above its head. He let the scorpion stab into his hand to show his brother how dangerous it truely was. Asmo collected hundreds of them in a desert oasis.

Beel had been thinking about how slow he was to pick things up. He wasn’t upset about it, just confused. Why did he not get jokes his kin made when ever one else did? Lucifer had shown him the fly, small but quick and near impossible to catch. Beel hadn’t understood, until his brother explained that it was so quick, because it saw everything slower and had much more time to react. Beel had also noted the similarities in their wings and felt a strong connection the small, thousand armies creature.

Belphie had felt too big. He like the little humans and wanted to be around them, but even if he was allowed, he would surely hurt them with his strength. Lucifer showed him cattle, a life force for humans, but something that loved to lay about in sunlight and rest it’s massive weight into soft green meadows. It was large and could hurt humans with ease, but instead it helped them by giving them things to fill their needs all while peacefully living along side them.

Lilith had felt like she was wrong in some way. She felt pretty and colourful, but it was like something deep inside her was just a little different. Her love for the humans only made it grow. Lucifer showed her the butterfly, a delicate insect with bright wings and small little bodies. Together they watched it go to feed on the dried blood of a passed rabbit. Lilith had laughed and claimed she loved it. She had sighed dreamily and whispered into the air of their home, “I wish father would create some of the creatures the humans think up. If I could create something living and be friends with it, I’d want to meet a unicorn!”

Lucifer unknowingly gave five of his brothers their animals, one he made on his own, one he had chosen for him.

Thinking about Levi rushing into their house and urgently sputtering until he finally manages to get “I got asked out on a real date!!!” Everyone is shocked, listening intently and in disbelief as he explains that one of his gaming friends asked him if he wanted to go to dinner, clarifying when he got flustered that they did mean a date.

The best and most surprising part isn’t just that he finally got asked out and that someone is actually interested in him but the way that Lucifer cups his faces and tells him to calm down. With damn near practiced ease and profession, he talks his little brother through what he should wear after asking where he was going to take them, then talking him that he’ll do great.

Only Mammon notices the way Lucifer smiles or idly at their little brother while the others help him prepare.

Lucifer is actually a quadruplet. He, Michael, Gabriel and Uriel were made together, originally being one before their father split them to become themselves. Only, Lucifer was different to the other three, the part of him that came from the whole was smaller. He wasn’t growing like them and seemed more emotional, like the humans they would later observe. Their father adored him due to his weakness and need to be protected, giving him anything he asked. Lucifer did love his three brothers just as he did his new siblings, yet they pushed him aside and never let him join in their games. They loved him but couldn’t look at his smaller grace as nothing more than weak. Their father knew that the part Lucifer had come from was actually the strongest, hence why the splitting seemed so uneven, and tried to trick him into thinking he was pathetic as his brothers claimed. What he didn’t except was for Lucifer to use the love of his sister and five brothers to become brave and defiant, to fight and rattle the balance of heaven and hell.

When Lucifer fell, he split himself in rage and betrayal, showing his three brothers how much love he could have given them and what they failed to see. He took his brothers and new self forward, ignored the pain of knowing he had lost something he never truely had.

Lucifer who is concerned about marring Diavolo and becoming a Prince and upon ascension a King. He knows the work load with double, possibly triple, and is already struggling with work he has and caring for (and managing) his family.

But then he starts to think about a different type of family. He would always have his brothers and his beloved future husband, but what if there was someone new? A new life that came from both of them, not just Lucifer splitting apart through rage and grief. He doesn’t see how it would work, they are both males, but he’s seen same sex couples do it a few times without needing to adopt and he’s sure his husband would want to keep his bloodline. Something he’s always loved about the Devildom is how much of it contradicts what his father wanted, including how people can love and reproduce. Before he even realises it, Lucifer is preparing himself and their home for children, willingly letting his lover take work loads off him so he can plan and imagine his new life. There is only a single moment where he worries he would be like his own father, but then his brother Satan, a part of himself he once resented, comes to him as if he knew his desire all along and tells him he won’t fail. He tells him that he’s a good brother and already has the heart of a father, all he needs is the body of a mother and everything else will just fall into place. Lucifer isn’t sure if he’s scared or over excited when his husband not only agrees, but insist that have a minimum of eight children will be born from their communion.

Beel’s brothers are missing. Something, most likely a spell or curse, caused them all to vanish. He had snuck off to the kitchen when they were playing around (Lucifer was trying to stop them) with something they had received in the mail. Diavolo worked tirelessly to figure out who did it, questioning every Demon and Angel he could, but to no avail. The person or people had somehow gotten away with taking out six of the most powerful beings in the Devildom. Beel was taken over with depression at first, not leaving his home unless it was to get a report from Diavolo. He didn’t even eat he was so scared for his brothers life. Eventually he had no choice but to get it together and began to work alongside Diavolo like his oldest brother once had. Much to everyone in the kingdoms surprise, Beelzebub was crueler than Lucifer, playing dirty tricks like blackmail and framing to get what he want, killing those he deemed too much of a threat and even devouring the Grace of an Angel to prove he was not to be messed with. Diavolo at first though to stop him, but he was not deep enough in his dream for peace to ignore how the kingdom seemed to be thriving of the violence and chaos Beel was supplying. He only spoke up when Barbatos reminded him of his dream and compared him to his father, but if Beel was present during these moments he would not hesitate to call the butler out for being weak minded and not letting Diavolo rule his own kingdom. The Demon Prince couldn’t fully grasp why Beel did not trust Barbatos but soon realised his words were true and that the butler at been too soft on him and made him weak. It was almost eight hundred years after Beelzebubs brothers went missing that Diavolo realises the culprit was beside them the whole time.

Unfortunately for Barbatos, he underestimated Beelzebub and did not win the ensuing fight, not even when he bought the brothers back from their rimless trap.

Satan has dreams that feel more like memories that don’t belong to him, most likely from his counterpart, Lucifer. He dreams of clean white buildings, sweet child like laughter, a cold voice giving false warmth, a war he took no part in… he doesn’t tell his brother because then he would have to admit that he not only respects him but cares for him. Satan isn’t just Lucifer rage, but his own. He feels a burn in his soul when he thinks about how his adoptive brothers had been abused and manipulated. He can’t admit he loves them, because it scares him. But then one night, when he’s fallen asleep in the lounge room and his brothers are all in bed, he had a nightmare. It’s Lilith, screaming in fear to protect her brother only to suddenly stop as a spear shocks her breath out of her body. He begs in the dream and subsequently the real world for her to survive, to be safe and not fall to ash and earth. He wakes to someone holding him, telling him it’s okay and that everyone is safe and free and happy. Warm hands brush through his hair and gentle lips whisper against his forehead. He manages to focus enough to realise its Lucifer holding him, Lucifer whose whispering sweet nothings and whipping away his tears. Part of him wants to pull away but the pain of loosing someone he never met is too strong, so he lifts himself up to wrap his arms around his brothers neck and sobs loudly. He’s distantly aware that the others have heard the commotion and entered the room but he doesn’t care, not as he rambled about being so scared and how it wasn’t Lucifers fault, how he promises to keep their family safe and that he doesn’t have to bare the burden alone. His brother cries too, quietly as he nods along and kisses his head softly. No one will bring it up again, it’s something between Lucifer and Satan, but they all hear it when he sobs out the words, “I’m sorry, I want let Him hurt you again, I promise father.”

A new human exchange student hurts Beelzebubs brother. Asmodeus is heart broken after they played him, made him fall in love only to say they wanted his body and nothing more. They ruin Levi’s progress on being more social by bullying him when they were alone. They scam Mammon, they tell everyone Satan is pathetic and mock him for his love of cats, they take photos of Lucifer in secret when he’s vulnerable and alone with his brothers, hair a mess and clothes untidy and post them on social media. He hates all those actions, but it’s when they drug Belphie with a nasty potion that causes violent nightmares and makes him scared to fall into his comfort of sleep, waking at odd times to sob and scream about loosing his sister and brothers, that Beel truely snaps. He doesn’t even realise how angry he’s gotten, how cold his blood feels compared to the hot blood he taste as he bites into the humans shoulder. He rips his arm clean off, devouring it whole and almost finishing him off before Barbatos can knock him out. They send the human home, whipping his memories so he won’t taint the Devildom in the humans view. His brothers all hold him tight, assure him they are okay and thank him in their own unique ways for the way he defended and protected them. He fought for them when they were weak, not because of the way the human called him fat and dirty, but because his family was hurting.

It’s a week later when they get the news that the human went insane and started to attack people in a rabid state, spreading his cursed infection across the majority of America in just twelve hours. The source of the infection seems to of been from a animal bite of unknown origin.

Satan who can shapeshifter. His brothers are being hounded by Samandriel, a servant of Gabriel, and he’s saying they need to stop the school program or another war will start. The angel doesn’t care for Satan as he wasn’t ever really an angel, he knows little about him aside from his name and avatar. The brothers watch as Samandriel finds a little girl who is crying as she stares at the demons. He comforts her, telling her the vile demons will be dealt with. She asks him what he is, and he reply’s he’s a an angel, a messenger of god. He asks her name as he kneels in front of her, tucking her golden hair behind her ear, only for her eyes to cover over in a deep green, her arm changing shape to a sharp point that goes through his head and kills him quick, the last thing he hears is her name…

“Satan.”
