Lucifer is actually a quadruplet. He, Michael, Gabriel and Uriel were made together, originally being one before their father split them to become themselves. Only, Lucifer was different to the other three, the part of him that came from the whole was smaller. He wasn’t growing like them and seemed more emotional, like the humans they would later observe. Their father adored him due to his weakness and need to be protected, giving him anything he asked. Lucifer did love his three brothers just as he did his new siblings, yet they pushed him aside and never let him join in their games. They loved him but couldn’t look at his smaller grace as nothing more than weak. Their father knew that the part Lucifer had come from was actually the strongest, hence why the splitting seemed so uneven, and tried to trick him into thinking he was pathetic as his brothers claimed. What he didn’t except was for Lucifer to use the love of his sister and five brothers to become brave and defiant, to fight and rattle the balance of heaven and hell.

When Lucifer fell, he split himself in rage and betrayal, showing his three brothers how much love he could have given them and what they failed to see. He took his brothers and new self forward, ignored the pain of knowing he had lost something he never truely had.

(His) Nightmares - Dateables and Brothers

Lucifer

Lucifer suffers from nightmares, though you would never know it. He’s very good at managing to live on little sleep and still look put together after. He could (and does) blame his work and brothers and all of his other duties for how little he sleeps or how restless that sleep is but it’s not the complete truth. Lucifer regularly has nightmares about his fall from the celestial realm. He remembers the great battle, the betrayed faces of his fellow angels, Lilith’s injury, his fall down to the Devildom. All of it, feeling just as intense and real and unbearable as it did when it actually happened. He’s the kind of person that wakes up with a quiet gasp but nothing so noticeable as to ever wake anyone up. It’s a reaction that he’s trained himself to contain over the millennia. He doesn’t ever tell anyone about the nightmares but Simeon always seems to have a knack for knowing when he’s had a rough night because he’ll check in with Lucifer and bring him some kind of sweet snack that morning; he’ll smile guilelessly at Lucifer as he does it but the sadness in his eyes says something completely different. 

Mammon

Mammon’s nightmares tend to come when he’s had a particularly rough day with his brothers and, later on, with you. They happen when his self-deprecation follows him into his dreams. He’s always being yelled at and insulted and he can be crying, begging for forgiveness and kindness, trying to explain his side of the story but no one will ever listen. They mock his pain and tell him how pathetic and scummy he is. Hearing it from his brothers is hard enough but if you appear in the nightmare, he absolutely loses it. He can’t bear the idea of you thinking of him like that. When Mammon wakes, it’s with tears sliding down his face and he’s gasping for breath. He’s thrown off for the whole day and will actively avoid people because he’s afraid of bursting into tears if they say anything.

Levi

It isn’t common for Levi to have nightmares. Maybe it’s because he doesn’t get very much sleep thanks to his gaming lifestyle or maybe it’s because he tends to have such lovely dreams about Ruri-chan or maybe it’s because you’re actually snuggling him and how could anything bad happen when you’re there? When he does have nightmares, they’re typically something outrageous based on a game or anime that he’s seen lately, especially if they’re horror based. Levi is one of those people who would accidentally throw himself off the bed if he didn’t sleep in a tub and he wakes up with his arms waving in the air as if he’s acting out a fight scene or something. He can shake off his dreams pretty quickly and if he can’t, he’ll turn on a comfort anime to help.

Satan

Satan’s most common nightmares involve him giving into his wrath. It is not the idea of destruction or torturing and murdering others that really gets to him so much as the loss of control behind it. His dreams always have a sort of third person element; he can either see himself as if he’s a bystander or he’s in his body and aware of what he’s doing but unable to get himself to stop. He’ll be screaming in his dream to stop but he can’t. He can never force himself out of the nightmares, only wait for them to end - much like his sin. He wakes up sweating and panting and shaking; it takes him a long time to calm down and he’ll be even more introspective and isolated for the following day or two while the nightmare keeps replaying in his head. 

Asmo

Like Levi, Asmo doesn’t usually have nightmares. He is the king of self care and that means making sure he’s sleeping well too. He’ll listen to ASMR or soothing nature sounds while his humidifier goes and the fan blows, and his room is drenched in perfect darkness. It’s the perfect set up. But sometimes that’s not enough to keep the nightmares away. When Asmo does have a nightmare, he dreams that his true self, the dark and hideous parts that he keeps carefully hidden, is shown to everyone. All of his photos on Devilgram are hideous, mirrors shatter when he passes by, children and women scream when they see him. He tries so hard to hide himself, to force his glamour to come back, but he can’t and now everyone hates him as they realize that he’s no longer the jewel of the heavens. That’s bad enough but if you’re involved in the dream as well and you see him, Asmo is scared to death that you’ll reject him as well. He would never be able to recover from that. Asmo wakes up with a little shriek and he grabs at himself and stumbles over to one of his many mirrors to make sure he’s still beautiful. He’ll dress up extra lovely that day to reassure himself of his beauty and he’ll be extra clingy/flirty with you. 

Beel

It’s canon that Beel has nightmares pretty often. He’s dreamt of Lilith’s death for hundreds of years. He dreams about having to choose between her and Belphie, of making the wrong choice (is there even a right choice?), of not being able to save her as she fell, of falling to the Devildom with his family torn apart. Usually, sleeping beside him will help keep the nightmares away but sometimes you show up in them too. You will show up in his dream and Beel will have to choose between you and Lilith but he takes too long trying to figure out a way to save you both and then you’re both falling and there’s nothing he can do. Beel wakes up with a shout, sitting straight up in bed. If you’re there, he will reach for you and need to hold you close to reassure himself that you’re still there, safe and sound. If you’re not around, he will usually curl up on himself and torment himself with regret over his inability to protect his family. 

Belphie

One of Belphie’s abilities as the Avatar of Sloth is the ability to control dreams. With this ability, it’s rare for him to have nightmares because he can usually stop them right when they start. On the rare occasion that Belphie is unable to stop a nightmare, it almost always involves you. He’ll dream of the night that he killed you. It’s like he’s watching it from behind an invisible wall that he can’t get through. He will be screaming, begging himself to stop, to listen to him. You don’t deserve this. You are everything that is good in this world; he will never love anyone the way that he loves you. But he’s forced to watch himself hug you until your bones crack as that horrific expression of betrayal and pain is frozen on your beautiful face. He’ll keep slamming his fists against that invisible wall; it eventually shatters but not until you’re already gone and all he can do is cradle your cold body on the floor and weep. On the worst nights, your ghost will stand there next to him asking him why he did it. Telling him how much you loved and trusted him, how you only ever wanted to help. How you will never forgive him for this. He wakes up with tears in his eyes and a pillow clutched to his chest, demon tails tearing into it. When this happens, Belphie will avoid everyone and spend the day in bed, desperately trying to fall into a dreamless sleep because he can’t stand the idea of looking at you after everything he’s done. 

Diavolo

Diavolo is someone who has nightmares based on his fear of failure. He worries about the decisions he’s made and will make, and what his rule will do for the Devildom. He wants to create unity between the three realms but he’s so afraid that he will not be able to do it. He worries about the exchange program; he worries about you. What if something happens? How could he shoulder that responsibility as a leader? As your lover? It’s not too uncommon for those nightmares to chase at the edges of his dreams but they’re rarely enough to wake him up. When he does wake up from these dreams, he takes some time to get himself together and he’ll usually revise a lot of his plans to double check it. If he’s able to, he’ll also reach out to you and ask you to visit that day for a meeting. Seeing you and getting your opinion on things always makes him feel better.

Barbatos

Lucifer is not the only one who evades sleep for a reason. Barbatos is known to work himself to exhaustion simply so that he has a better chance of falling into a deep, dreamless sleep once he actually does allow himself to lay down. Barbatos is an incredibly powerful demon and his ability to manipulate time has terrified many creatures, including himself at times. He has seen so many timelines, so many possibilities and horrors, that it’s impossible to shake them off completely. His nightmares tend to be loops of timelines playing for him that he attempts to escape from only to end up in an even worse scenario. Barbatos wakes up into immediate awareness but you would never be able to know it was due to nightmares unless you pay close attention to his dilated eyes or reach out a hand to feel his heart pounding wildly under his chest. He’s able to compartmentalize his feelings about the nightmares very well but he’ll definitely send you a message or two because your kindness always makes things easier to deal with. 

Solomon

You can’t live for thousands of years and not be haunted by things from your past. Solomon is not the exception to that rule. He doesn’t have nightmares anymore because he’s created many potions and spells for that but he was overrun by them for a very long time. If there’s a night where he forgets his potion, his nightmares are very disjointed and tend to feel very dreamlike in their non-linear and nonsensical shifting. Solomon is the kind of person who sits straight up gasping for breath and grabbing at his chest. Sometimes there will be tears gathered in the corners of his eyes, threatening to spill out, and on mornings like that, he will throw himself into a project to distract himself, and he’ll always try to drag you into it as well, citing the need for your help specifically. 

Simeon

Not even angels are immune from nightmares. Simeon had them semi-regularly before visiting the Devildom, though they’ve lessened a bit over the centuries. Like Lucifer, he mostly dreamed about the Celestial War and the things and people he had lost. Then he came to the Devildom and the nightmares are worse than ever. He’ll blame the fact that he’s around the brothers again and he realizes how much he still loves them and how much he’s missed them. Then he meets you and every whisper of doubt he’s had about his Father begins to get louder and louder. He dreams now about you and about his Father finding out about his feelings. He dreams about the punishment he would face, about what the fall would feel like, about what life would be like with you after (would you still be there? Would his Father find a way to punish you too? What would happen to Luke?). Simeon wakes up in a cold sweat, reaching for his wings. He’ll find himself on the floor, immediately posed to pray to his Father and ask for forgiveness for his blasphemous feelings. As time goes on, he stops giving into the urge to ask for forgiveness and will instead reach out to you. He’s come to learn that your love is more soothing to his soul than any kind of divine forgiveness.

Lucifer: You’re Mc, right?

Mc: Yeah. . .

Lucifer: You identify as a male, right?

Mc: Yeah…

While he did have access to your files, Lucifer would still be taken aback by your feminine appearance. Was there some sort of mistake? Did you go through some transition? He’s very relieved that no mishaps occurred when you were summoned. 

Lucifer ends up sputtering many compliments your way, along with some more unchaste remarks that were more hushed for anyone else to hear and acknowledge. Many weren’t supposed to escape his lips in the first place, but for some reason the demon couldn’t help it. He would probably lay it off as him wanting to make up for your awkward arrival.

The pristine, dutiful elder brother saw no problem with you and your attire in the beginning. He was and still is honestly very fond of it. You can end up putting a lot of work into your physical appearance, and depending on how varied your outfits and aesthetics are, Lucifer will commend you for how well you put yourself together.

Lucifer definitely favors you wearing lolita and ouji clothing. He’s a big fan of victorian clothing and with lolita clothing taking inspiration from it he really appreciates the sight of you wearing the attire. He particularly favors you wearing gothic, classic, guro, and wa-lolita styles. This man will be on the verge of his horniness composure when you wear ero-lolita fashion, or just anything that gives him easy access to look at your thighs and legs.

What did bother him was the fact you refused to wear the RAD uniform. You would either throw it away or use the material to make a costume uniform.

Lucifer: How many times are we gonna have to go through this?

Mc: How many times are you gonna expect me to wear those pants and that awful dress shirt?

Eventually there would be a compromise by either letting you wear a custom uniform or letting you wear the uniform for girls with a different dress shirt.

Lucifer doesn’t really enjoy gifting you meaningless gifts; if he’s gonna get you something, it’ll be something you’ll enjoy, would be able to wear, and possibly match with a theme of a formal event he wants you to accompany him for.

You both have a matching teacup sets for when he feels a picnic between you is in order, or when you’re both privately mingling with each other in his room or work station. The reason he doesn’t like to show it off publicly is because last time when you and brothers were invited to a picnic, Satan was quick to point out how Lucifer conveniently had the same set as you. Never again.

When it comes to gifts that involve accessories, he tends to have something that matches. Like a necklace that’s shares the same resemblance to the one you got for him, or two identical bracelets that you both share.

The eldest brother would not be as oblivious to his crush, as say Mammon. He may not admit until the time is correct. On dates he tends to take you to more lavish places or events. Lucifer might even gift you an outfit so he can match with yours.

This is guy not subtle at all when it comes to punishments. If he feels the need to punish you, he’ll make you clean around the house (preferably his quarters.) However he’ll make you wear some risqué maid outfit.

Lucifer: I assure you Mc, wearing this maid outfit is absolutely essential to your punishment.

Mc: Do I have to wear the—

Lucifer: Yes the lingerie undergarments too. How else are you to learn? 

Often finds his eyes drawing towards you. Sometimes when staring Lucifer will lower his gaze to admire your thighs and backside. Lucifer often needs to refrain himself from touching your smooth skin, or risk peeking up your dress when you slouch. He tries to control himself because he does want to be respectful towards you. But when you two start going out he’ll stare all he wants and may give you a pinch or smack for all the time he had to wait, and to tease you.

Lucifer loves to doll you up in cute extravagant outfits. A smirk befalls upon his face when he sees you adorned in the outfit he so kindly gifted you.

Now, Lucifer is not one to get jealous. He is one of the most power demons out there; others know it would be foolish to attempt any devious actions to woo you. Especially if he’s around. But he gets a small boost to his ego when you wear something he bought. Why get jealous when there’s no one to complete with you in the first place?

When he buys clothes, the handsome demon will buy promiscuous outfits for only his eyes to see. So if you’re invited to come over to his room for a “private meeting”, expect him to dress you up.

Lucifer: You never saw me here, got it?

Asmo: Only if you help pay for some of my clothing. It’s only fair.

Don’t even try getting him into anything you wear. No crop tops, no skirts, revealing or not he’s gonna refuse. Lucifer wants to keep track of his image so being seen like that would never sit well with him. He doesn’t see a problem with other people like yourself doing so, but for him, he’ll never allow someone to see him like that. At most he may put on something that’s lingerie or a maybe a crop top if you’re alone and having a “private session” together.

He’s very respectful and will not tolerate any ill-manner comments or behavior directed towards you. Not that anyone would be stupid enough to try anything when he’s around.

The man relishes in the stares of the jealous demons. He is the one who got to you first, and you were the first to capture his heart before them. People admiring you both gives him great pleasure like no other.

Lucifer and you love each other dearly. Lucifer will respect any boundaries you set and being with him will never garner many negatives. Just watch out for his more rabid fans. They’re. . .not safe to be around. Don’t worry though, he’ll protect you and make sure no harm comes your way. You are his precious pretty little human, and loves you with all his heart.
