Remember when being an "activist" wasn't a thing? You were a "_______ activist." When people got active for specific causes they were actually passionate about and weren't looking for another issue, they swear is plaguing humanity, to gripe about for a few weeks on social media? When people were informed by their own experience and didn't derive their beliefs or opinions based on biased media outlets. We need those people again.

I know it is true and nothing can diminish the spiritual confirmation I've had.

What I'm annoyed with is this exactly. I have my beliefs and you have yours. "Though not a swearing man, I'm always sorely tempted to try my hand" when another anti shows up on my timeline or Tumblr claiming they know the truth about the church.

Your concept of truth is a lot different than mine, yours being based on facts that continue to prove to be inconclusive, being that facts being moldable by further knowledge.

My truth comes from scripture study and prayer. My source being Unchanging.

Trust me, I've tried to convince myself that all of this wasn't true and that it was just me following my parents...but I cannot deny what I have felt. The true happiness that comes from living the gospel. The joy of helping others come unto Christ.

My testimony has been tried by fire. Although I didn't come out perfect, I'm trying to come closer than I was yesterday to being what the Savior wants me to be...and that's the best I can do.

The Book of Mormon is true. Joseph, although a fallible man, was called to be a Prophet of God. Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Almighty God and They LIVE.
