"Love, Dark and Deep"

Two years ago I was commissioned by Simon & Shuster to shoot the cover for Love, Dark and Deep by Amy McNamara. I was doing a 365 at the time but couldn’t release the images so I posted them on this blog blurred out and never really got around to unblurring them once the project was completed, so here is a compilation from the week where I took my 700 hand-cut snowflakes around my childhood home in Ontario, Canada and created several different variations of my concept.

It’s interesting to see how just two years later the amount my style has changed and my life and how differently I would have approached this today.

had my first actual full fruit beer drink thing yesterday last night and i can quite say i liked it. i felt very warm and slow and it was some of the best sleep i've ever gotten in a long time. i didn't necessarily get "drunk," i just felt like a heavy turtle and that feeling was nice considering wtf just happened
