Fresh off the press! A major Game Patch was just released on June 30, 2026. This update focuses heavily on fixing a massive number of bugs and cutting down on those annoying in-game notifications.

Here are the main highlights from the latest update:

1. Less Phone Call and Notification Spam

If you’ve been getting irritated by Sims constantly blowing up your phone, there’s great news:

Silenced Phone: The "Silence Phone" feature now works properly to completely mute incoming notifications.

Neighborhood Stories: Sims you barely even know will no longer call to ask for life advice or invite you to festivals. From now on, you need to be Friends first before they can bother you over the phone.

No More Repetitive Chats: Annoying, repetitive calls (like getting non-stop congratulations every time you make a new friend) have been removed.

2. "The Life and Lore of Callia Maebey"

Alongside the patch, EA dropped an interesting blog post detailing the history of Callia Maebey—the famous "Phone Lady" who first appeared on the Main Menu back in 2022. She also got a special teaser on the Main Menu this June 30th to mark her return.

3. Major Bug Fixes (EA Forums Top Reports)

Over 70 bugs were fixed in this patch, including:

Inventory Bug: Fixed the issue where stacked items, photos, and paintings would get "stuck" or remain attached to the cursor when being moved to a Sim's inventory.

Mac Players: Mac users' Scratch Files have been moved to the AppData folder (matching the PC update from January) to prevent infinite loading screens and save corruption.

Careers and Occults: Fixes have been deployed for the Actor Career (Get Famous) where the hair and makeup task couldn't be completed, as well as an issue with bathing small dogs (Cats & Dogs).

⚠️ Reminder for Mods/CC: Because this is a brand new, major patch (PC Version: 1.125.59.1030), make sure to update your script mods and clear your game cache before playing to avoid glitches or corrupted save files
