I'm finally playing my Dirty Springs save on YouTube.

Dirty Springs is my personal The Sims 4 Forever Save and a rotational storytelling series set in my reimagined version of Oasis Springs.

It all started with one simple idea:

What if Nancy Landgraab practically owned the entire town?

Now Johnny Zest pays rent to his own family, Joe King is the last person refusing to sell his land, Geoffrey Landgraab is somehow still alive after another day of marriage, and every household is connected in one way or another.

The first episode follows Johnny Zest as one bad decision turns into several even worse ones.

He befriends Nancy's biggest enemies, falls for the comedy club owner's daughter, accidentally sets the Landgraab mansion on fire, uncovers one of Nancy's dirty little secrets... and eventually decides to reclaim a tiny piece of his inheritance.

Because honestly...

It's not stealing if it's your own money. Right?

If you're into rotational gameplay, interconnected storytelling, townie makeovers, and giving EA lore you're own twist, I think you'll feel at home in Dirty Springs...

Nancy Landgraab doesn't just live in Oasis Springs; she owns the goddamn place. In true Landgraab fashion, she’s been swallowing up every single piece of land. Well... almost. Everyone sold out and signed her contracts, except for the prankster living next door running his rundown comedy club. It’s the last remaining square inch of dirt that doesn't bear the Landgraab seal, and frankly, it’s driving Nancy absolutely crazy.

When Nancy’s henchmen get back to report that Joe King spit on their offer and refused to sell, she decides to cut out the middleman. If Nancy wants something, she gets it.

She storms into the comedy club and forces herself to sit through a routine by the self-proclaimed King of Jokers.

She wants to look the dead man walking straight in the eyes. But what happens next is something Nancy has never experienced in her entire life. This Joe guy looks her straight in the face and says: "I will never sell to a Landgraab." Right then and there, war officially starts.

I thought, 'Surely, a quiet afternoon in Henford with my parents ...

Dad has already spent the first ten minutes chasing me around with that ridiculous air horn. Now I finally know where Bob got it from—or why I apparently have a 'type' without them even looking alike or me realizing it.

Is it too much to ask for one man in my life who understands the concept of maturity?

Excuse me, yes, I’ll have the Garden Salad, but could you replace the lettuce with spinach? And I’d like the tomatoes blanched—not raw, not boiled, just blanched.

Oh, and the dressing on the side, but please, in a chilled ceramic bowl, not plastic. And if the croutons aren't hand-cut, I'd rather just have a slice of toasted sourdough—gluten-free, if you have it, but toasted for exactly 45 seconds. Thank you so much!

Look at him. The living room is finally spotless, the pillows are perfectly fluffed, and then there’s Bob. He always says it's 'a very short nap' the second I start cleaning.

Safety first, aesthetics second! I decided to take the bike today. Fresh air, fresh flowers... it’s important to stay active and set a good example. After all, being a role model for everyone is what I, Eliza Pancakes, can offer.

But how dare the principal tell me I'm just trying to be 'everybody’s darling' and a 'people-pleaser'?! What does it even mean to tell someone they should 'find themselves'?

I am NOT a people-pleaser. A big NO-NO-NOT!

Eliza wanted to go to San Myshuno to 'soak up the culture.' Five minutes in, and she’s already soaking up a Living Statue because its gold paint isn't perfect or something.

As I watch her 'Boooo!' one question comes to mind:

Does the statue guy get paid extra for the emotional damage? Honestly, I kind of could do this also... just standing still and earning money? Yes mam! Eliza trained me perfectly in ignorance.

People ask me why I let her win every game, or why I don't mind her 'rearranging' my socks and my life every single day. The truth is simple: Eliza doesn't just want things to be perfect—she wants us to be perfect.

And the thing is... I want that too.

Bob, it’s me. I’m in Evergreen Harbor and I need you to pick me up. Now. Preferably yesterday.

I don’t know what’s happening—everyone is wearing paper bags on their heads? Apparently, it’s some 'Neighborhood Action Plan' thing, but honestly, I’ve seen enough.

Just start the car, darling — I don't know how long I can keep up this 'warm tone' and my smile already hurts, OKAY?!

The Pancakes' Secret Routine

If you asked Eliza, she’d tell you that her life is a never-ending battle against the forces of chaos—mostly led by Bob. She spends her day making sure every surface shines, her classroom is spotless, and everything is in its "rightful" place and under "control".

She loves to play the part of the exhausted wife. She’ll huff and puff while picking up a stray sock, shooting Bob a look that says, "How do you even survive without me?" It’s her favorite role to play.

But here’s the thing: Bob is in on the joke. He knows that if he actually started being neat, Eliza would be bored to tears within twenty minutes. Cleaning isn’t a chore for her; it’s her obsession.

So, Bob does his part by staying "terribly messy". He’ll leave a cup on the table, "forget" the laundry basket, watching from the corner of his eye as she swoops in with her spray bottle, grumbling about his laziness with a hidden spark of joy in her eyes.

Whenever they play video games, Eliza is absolutely obsessed with winning—honestly, you do not want to see her lose. I mean, just look at her going... she is in full combat mode.

And Bob? He always pulls an Oscar-winning performance of: "Oh wow, Eliza, you're just too good!" When in reality, he’s totally letting her win. He knows she is possibly struggling with more than just "a need for clean floors", but that’s a story for another day.

I still can’t believe it — Rudy Hickens & Lady got featured as a Maxis Fav and have been downloaded more times than I ever imagined. 🥹

This grumpy soft-hearted loner and his oversized-beagle-bestie were just a quiet little story in my head — a man who didn’t ask where she came from, and a pup who didn’t care where he was going.

They just… belonged. And now they belong in your games too. 😭🐕

you hear about it from someone random. “it’s peaceful,” they say. “you should go,” they say.

so, i go. goat yoga. chickens. a single cow. and i’m already asking myself why this place is called #moocommune if there’s literally one cow — and she looks like she’s plotting her escape.

a guy named larry — “the guru,” self-declared founder, spiritual guide, and possible full-time shady business guy — greets me and declares, “we rise with the cows.” okay, sure. because that’s a normal thing to hear before goat yoga.

i notice everyone calls each other brother moo and sister moo. huh. cute... or cult?

somehow, i get that feeling — like someone’s watching me.

and that’s when i recognize the cowplants. giant. perfectly lined up. like someone did it on purpose. but who would plant cowplants, anyway?

larry smiles. “they’re sacred,” he says. “but they don’t harm those who belong.”

the cowplants stare. i stare back.

then larry puts a hand on my shoulder and whispers, “you are exactly where you belong.”
