I have finally (after more than a month) finished chapter 5 of Olives in the City. As always I have no idea how I did, since it's the first time I've written anything like it, hopefully you all enjoy!

worlds most well adjusted teenaged girl
I feel like I need to share this because idk if Europeans are familiar with the presence of Aldi in the US, but at least especially in my area they’ve been growing a lot recently. Like Aldi bought out some local failing grocery chains where I live (Louisiana) and have opened Aldis in all these somewhat rural communities and small towns, which for the record I’m fine with
But as a result of this they are advertising a lot more in my area and also in many cases, the people in these areas have never been confronted with Aldi or any European grocery store. So the ads that Aldi is pushing out to its new US customer base feature a cowboy shopping at Aldi who is explaining to new Aldi customers how Aldi works. Like this cowboy is explaining you gotta put a quarter in the shopping cart and why there are very little name brands. A cowboy is how they want to reach their American customer base. They gave us a cowboy

Thinking about the teenager in a ratty hoodie who came in with their parents for a ram upgrade. I saw some Celeste stickers on their computer, said “Oh I love that game!” And their mother chimed in to say, “Oh yeah, that’s like his bible. He’s always talking about it.”
I hope that girl is on estrogen now.
Biting is a love language. No I will not elaborate.
For all the cuties waiting for plants to come
Please consider that you are already not independent from plants.
They provide you with air you breathe, the food you eat. Their images are on your clothes and their materials are in your clothes. They are a part of your cultures and they are inseparable parts of your language. Regularly seeing greenery improves your mental health. And consuming certain kinds of plants keeps ailments at bay.
Just because they don't put a leash on you, doesn't mean they don't already unconditionally support you. They're already doing their best, for free.
