I was rewatching some of my fav Syntari moments but I think it’s in episode 37 or 38 where The Golden Sentinels are fighting some witchbreed and Katari casts Warding Bond (I think for the first time) on Synnove and Kyle clarifies that to do so Katari would have to drop her rage.

“For Synnove of course” Then I was reminded that when Dark Age Tome 2 comes back Syntari will go triple platinum in my house 😂

I was prepared to build for the potential of a maybe? Cyrus atonement arc but then that horrid memory but after that Cyrus has go. I wish every one of his schemes fails and I hope that everything bad happens to him by the end of the Campaign. I hope nothing saves him from getting caught by Mercy & Temperance.

(Honorable Mention: Seeing the origin of the “Cousin Rafa” motif was so sweet and Carmilla knowing and being famalier with Rafa and Merritt is not something I knew I needed but now I know I need more of that dynamic)

We all know Argia and Federico are locked in and that Carmilla is an absolute goner for Mercy but if this wasn’t the case I would love to see Carmilla and Argia because their dynamic I love it.

A very sad and running theory I (and a bunch of others) have is that Monty was promise bound by Xerxes and had to act on orders (and Andronika has lost too many people to hold that against him)

That makes sense to me and would align Monty’s actions during the entire situation with the Protectorate and would align with Andronika’s need to protect him because she believes she has no one left.

I don’t know if I am misunderstanding some context (which I very well may) But Montgomery was Essen’s friend and still aided to help Xerxes into manipulating Andronika.

Like I need to know if Montgomery is being held by a promise or something of the like, because it looks like as much as he has claimed to be Andronika’s friend he seems to have been lying to her so I don’t know what to make of Monty anymore.

(I am watching Episode 34 have not watched 35) Spoilers!!!!

When we first meet Carmilla in GT we are presented with the fact that her and Andronika’s relationship has frayed but we aren’t given a reason why until it presents itself clearly in GT 34.

Carmilla loves Andronika the way you would love someone that raised you and watched you grow up. But that’s part of what makes it complex because the kind of hurt that Andronika inflicted onto Carmilla is not something that heals silently and with time it’s something that stays and festers.

Carmilla used Andronika’s own defense mechanism in that scene in 34 Detachment. When Andronika needs to bring the Iron Fist down on her family she distances the emotions to make it hurt less and that’s what Carmilla learned in that moment. Carmilla used Detachment and has been using Detachment when it comes to Andronika to protect herself from how deeply she was hurt.
