The writers trying to push Steve and Nancy together while depicting a future full of kids as if that literally wasn’t addressed in season one where one of Nancy’s fears was ending up like her parents, a marriage that was being reflected in her and Steve’s relationship [season one when she’s practicing shooting scene she talks about this]

She’s never wanted that suburban dream of settling down with 2.5 kids and then some. You’re telling me a girl with drive, ambition, and frankly a low self preservation instinct [those scenes where she faces monsters head on and it’s Jonathan that has to pull her away from danger because she doesn’t know when to retreat] and journalism in her heart (a dangerous career depending on what stories you pursue and you can’t tell me she would chase exactly those stories and undercover truths that may put her in danger)— is going to want to step back from that to put effort into raising a bunch of kids? (Holy shit six Steve?!)

I can’t see that happening unless she malewife’s Steve lmao and even then I don’t think it would be a marriage they would be happy in (imagine a future in which Steve trying to care for a lot kids alone while Nancy is absent trying to cover the fall of the Berlin Wall or the USSR)
