âMy wish is to stay always like this, living quietly in a corner of nature.â
- Claude Monet
There'll be a moment when you realise you're 27 when yesterday you were just 17; and you wouldn't be able to tell how a decade passed away and your life got divided into before and afters. The fury of youth will subdue and nothing will really change but everything will feel different when you look at old photographs and blurry videos taken on cheap mobile phones. Scents will remind you of childhood and certain friends you don't talk to anymore, hangouts will become reunions and mom's burnt pie will become the best food you ever had. And I know on some days you won't be able to show anything of those 10 years but I hope you remember to breathe, and let go of the knot in your chest. I hope you go out in the sun and live a little, because tomorrow is 37.
Edit- I added the visualizer for this piece on my YT, check it out here

TOLKIEN WEEK (½) â day 4. most attractive female character: arwen undĂłmiel
So it was that Frodo saw her whom few mortals had yet seen; Arwen, daughter of Elrond, in whom it was said that the likeness of LĂşthien had come on earth again; and she was called UndĂłmiel, for she was the Evenstar of her people.

Fellow non-Indigenous folks:
Itâs #IndigenousPeoplesDay. Never forget we are occupants of stolen land. We profit directly from the genocide of and theft from Indigenous nations.
Here are clear instructions on how to properly engage in comradeship:
First of all, do your research on Google and at https://native-land.ca to find out whose stolen land youâre occupying. Keep in mind that not all Indigenous nations are federally recognized, and many that are labeled âextinctâ are still very much alive.
Acknowledge Indigenous sovereignty in every space you hold: https://nativegov.org/a-guide-to-indigenous-land.../
Pay ârentâ to the Indigenous peoples whose land you occupy. Some nations, like the Duwamish Tribe, have a system for this in place. If you canât find a comparable link, contact the appropriate nation about financially supporting them.
Open your purse to Indigenous people directly: ⢠Facebook group of Indigenous vendors: https://www.facebook.com/groups/832568190487520/ ⢠Indigenous folks in need: https://twitter.com/debater.../status/1315021312742498306 ⢠Indigenous businesses to support: https://twitter.com/cosycore/status/1315603017991884800
Examine your everyday mundane or spiritual practices and remove anything that appropriates Indigenous cultures. Hereâs an EXTREMELY rudimentary list of examples of appropriation: â˘Â Indigenous âcostumesâ or aesthetics (Pocahontas, headdress, feathers in hair, âtribalâ makeup or tattoos, Indigenous patterns in clothing â˘Â ANY use of white sage (especially smoke cleansing) â˘Â use of the words/concepts âsmudging,â âpow wow,â âteepee,â âtotem,â âspirit animal,â âtribe,â or âchiefâ outside references to actual Indigenous peoples and cultures â˘Â playing the didgeridoo ⢠making dream catchers ⢠calling Indigenous spirits (Wend*goag, Sk*nwalkers, etc.) âcryptids,â or generally referring to them at all
Get on the streets. Engage in direct action to fight for Indigenous rights. Find and participate in the efforts of local mutual aid groups (read: *grassroots* organizations, not nonprofits) that are Indigenous-led. Hereâs a great place to get started: https://www.indigenousmutualaid.org/directory/
