âBlessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.â - James 1:12
I think one of the funniest abortion stances I've heard was from my parents neighbor. He's a like, hard-core libertarian viking larper guy who is very tall and very fat and very bald.
He believes a fetus is human with a soul, but also its "basically attacking the woman's body" so if she wants to get rid of it, that's "basically self-defense". He compared it to shooting a home invader. So he supports abortion not as healthcare, but as killing a baby in self-defense
The replies on this should scare people. When you can devalue a human life to the point you make it virtuous to commit murder in the womb, then anything is game even outside the womb. Iâve even had people justify abortion because the majority agree with it so guess we should all be followers. Itâs become illogical nonsense because in the end this isnât even about the abortion itself, itâs about them having to vindicate abortion so that no one will then come against them for whatever sin they want to commit in their own personal life. People believe the key to free mutual sin is mutual affirmation and in a sense theyâre right, itâs why weâre basically back to Babylon. But this isnât freedom or fulfillment. Theyâre walking into a jail cell they built and locking themselves inside when the key to freedom was in their hand the whole time. Itâs sad but this is one thing no one, especially Christians should back down on. A life is a life no matter the circumstances.
Disclosure is not something to ignore.
âFinally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devilâs schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.â - Ephesians 6:10-12
If youâre not aware of what theyâre doing with the Disclosure Day film and the whole âalienâ narrative in general, you need to be. As Christians this is important to be informed about because theyâre not being quiet about it. Spielberg and Coleman Domingo gave an interview with Fandango where they basically said the quiet part out loud. They talked about becoming something else by inviting in this new knowledge and Spielberg setting his film in the modern day because it was a âcentral part of creating a belief system.â Theyâre not just here to entertain you. Theyâre here to undermine and change your belief, your faith, the reality of Godâs existence and his authority. Even the interviewer said âyouâre preaching to somebody.â
This feels like a push and pull between one side and the other. Trump releases files and then seemingly trolls everyone with the aliens.gov website being about illegal immigrants. Yet the ufo-ologists arenât giving up on disclosure. You have Spielberg who appears to be revving up the idea that someone will disclose with or without the governmentâs approval. The message reads aggressive: reality is coming whether you welcome it or donât. This truth will be revealed to you and they believe it will usher in some utopia, thatâs why their fervor grows ever stronger.
In another interview done with some of the cast and Spielberg heâs making it clear this has a theological element. That likely is in the third act heâs concealing and he plans to completely undermine faith in God. He reveals that Janeâs character says at one point in the film âI was raised to believe in a supreme being, and now youâre going to show us actual supreme beings.â She says, âThe world canât handle both.â Heâs created a narrative where Christian faith is based solely on how youâre raised and that aliens are potentially the creator, the supreme being, the god. Itâs disgusting heretical nonsense.
Watch the final trailer. This is the devilâs lie from the beginning. God didnât create you. Your purpose isnât to know him and make him known but you were potentially made by something else, for something else and for the advancement of your own desires. Doubt God. Think God is withholding knowledge from you and you have to seek it for yourself. Satan can give it to you because heâs kind, heâs generous where God isnât. Donât buy the lie of the garden. They want you to invite in demons, to think itâs harmless, good even. That this is the next step in human evolution. But it isnât. It will lead to your eternal destruction.
We need to educate ourselves and know the biblical refutations for these things now because after disclosure isnât the time to know them, the lies will be too prolific by then. People already buy it now. We canât be the Christians who deny the devil and his ability to control this world and lie to the degree of producing bodies and proof that will seem convincing to those who want to believe it. Continue to draw close to God and rebuke this deception from the pits of hell. Even as we pray he calls the church home soon, that doesnât give us an excuse to not be wise in the time we have left.
âDo not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.â - Galatians 6:7-9
The lie of âdeconstructingâ faith.
Anyone who says they âdeconstructedâ their religion and stopped believing in Jesus because of it, did not believe in the first place. Donât buy the lie that you could ever truly come to Christ, know what Heâs done for you in saving you from your sins and then walk away. Once youâve understood the complete guilt and weight of your sin, how unable you are to reconcile yourself, that God was exceedingly merciful to send Jesus, who came in obedience to the Father and paid that debt in full on the cross so you could spend eternity in heaven upon repentanceâŠyeah, no false, easily de-throned argument will ever wrench that person from Godâs hand. Because theyâve tasted and seen what God has saved them from and what little the world can offer.
People can have their slips, going back to sins they thought theyâd submitted to Christ or struggling with the validity of a claim someone puts forth as truth but actually isnât. The difference is a person who claims to have believed for a long period of time and yet when presented with a few false arguments so easily âabandonsâ religion. But theyâre not abandoning Christ. Because as Iâve said you can walk away from false religious piety but not Jesus himself when youâve understood who you are in relation to who Christ is. People can sit in the pews for years and never know salvation. Just because they repeat scripture doesnât mean a person is saved. Remember the demons knew who Jesus was and Satan himself quoted scripture, the difference is they donât obey it nor give Christ the authority heâs due as Lord. Regeneration and revelation is for the heart truly submitted to Godâs will, for His purposes. So donât let people who claim to have been Christian or to have gone to church for 10, 20, 30 years but then suddenly decided because they âdeconstructedâ that it was all a lie, to walk away, derail genuine pursuit of Jesus.
Touching grass is not enough, some of yâall need to touch the hem of His garment.
If he gets it, so can you.
As the title implies, if Bill Maher can make one of the most coherent defenses of Israel and why antisemitism is on the rise to a ridiculous level, him being not the most morally stellar person, then all the more should Christians understand these things. Itâs shocking that many arguments I have for Israelâs place with God are not against secular individuals but against so-called âChristiansâ that were always meant to stand with them. When even Maher can see that the only thing both sides of the political isle agree on is hatred of Israel, of Jews, a people group so small they make up a nation the size of New Jersey, the explanation can only be because they are Godâs people and the hatred comes from a sinful rejection of God. Watch the video and prayerfully consider all the facts as well as the biblical principle that support for Israel is a Godly thing. You can disagree with governmental choices and still wish for the salvation and triumph of the people. Theyâre not mutually exclusive.
Iâm going to recommend everyone go and listen to the podcast History That Doesnât Suck and their episodes on the Holocaust - 202-204. Truly did an incredible job of covering the history and not glossing over the indescribable horror committed against Jews. If you come away after listening to this thinking anything except that the Jews are one of the most if not the most persecuted ethnic groups in the world, that they are Godâs people and he still watches over and protects them no matter the evil committed by sinful men and this history is sadly something people today are trying to repeat, youâre just not listening. Seriously, go listen, no matter how hard some things are to hear, we need to know them.
>Christian
>âjews are Gods chosen peopleâ
Idc what you think about the holocaust or jews as a whole but the pharisees who conspired to kill Christ are not Godâs chosen people.
You can, and should, say that they deserve mercy just as Christ has been merciful on sinners like us, but you cross a very real, very heretical line when you, as a christian, say Gods chosen people are the group who specifically deny that Christ was the Messiah.
Enough of the pharisaic tomfoolery brother.
The Jews as a people were chosen by God. Thatâs literally in the beginning of the Bible. To deny it is to deny the foundation of Christianity because weâre grafted onto the vine. Without Godâs choice of Abraham and the Jewish people, we would have nothing. Without Jesus being born a Jew, we would have nothing. God choosing them has nothing to do with each individual personâs choice to reject Christ. Israel as a nation is blessed by God. They are his people and his second coming is for them. Itâs actually far more heretical to deny their place as Godâs people than it is to point clearly to what Godâs Word says.
âFor you are a people holy to the Lord your God. The Lord your God has chosen you to be a people for his treasured possession, out of all the peoples who are on the face of the earth. It was not because you were more in number than any other people that the Lord set his love on you and chose you, for you were the fewest of all peoples, but it is because the Lord loves you and is keeping the oath that he swore to your fathers,â Deuteronomy - 7:6-8
This matters because it reflects how God keeps his promises, no matter our sinfulness as humanity. While salvation ultimately does depend on repentance and forgiveness through Christ, Godâs promise to redeem the people of Israel will be fulfilled because itâs about his covenant.
âFor just as you were at one time disobedient to God but now have received mercy because of their disobedience, so they too have now been disobedient in order that by the mercy shown to you they also may now receive mercy.â - Romans 11:30-31
Their partial hardening is temporary until the time of the church is over, which is coming soon. The Bible is clear on this. When Jesus comes again they will know he is their Messiah and turn to him. Itâs the covenant made to them. Itâs our responsibility as Christians to pray for them and to be grateful that we were extended an invitation at all to the wedding feast. Donât reject those who came first, for they are the only reason you have a seat in the first place.
âBe grateful we were extended an invitation at allâ
You can take the jewish dick out of your mouth youâre not doing an orthodox circumcision lol
I feel almost patronizing saying this but when Jesus was crucified is when âjewsâ came to exist. Before that it was people who (allegedly) believed in God and those who didnt. The pharisees and their followers maintained that the veil was not torn and Christ was not the Messiah, the son of God. The rest of us, the elect, recognize that Jesus was our savior. Its a really simple distinction.
You only shame yourself with that kind of language.
Jesus is a Jew. He is a Jewish Messiah, born in Bethlehem, a place in Israel. So they very much existed before his crucifixion . Youâre welcome to be an antisemite, thereâs plenty in the world. But to put Christian rhetoric over it while also being vulgar is disrespectful to the Lord and to Godâs Word. Slapping the word elect on things doesnât make you special and itâs not meant to make you sever yourself from Israel who the promise of salvation was given to in the first place. I pray youâre delivered from this demonic deception, because thatâs what it is.

In the wake of some disclosure and before more comes Iâll say this, as Christians we should know this is demonic. Itâs not dismissing science to say so. I admit that there is âintelligent lifeâ beyond humanity, itâs called powers and principalities in the heavenly realms. We have known there are beings we cannot see, working in a spiritual realm beyond our comprehension and outside of space and time. The difference here is that where other people are expecting grays, tridactyls or other actual alien life, a Christian can know that anything that would appear is a deception of the devil. Do not believe it. There is mounting hatred towards Christians saying we are holding back disclosure because we are anti-science and see these beings as demons. So expect people to be against the biblical view. This is all setting the stage for the coming of the Antichrist and the rapture of the church. Look up believers, your redemption draws nigh.
Giving a Defense as Christians
âbut in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you;â - 1 Peter 3:15
You canât answer every question of someone who opposes God. Often their objections are moral even if they claim itâs scientific or social. We donât have the ability to speak to people face to face and get to the heart of the questioner so sometimes itâs best to get to the broader root of the problem. Always ask them to define what they mean. Donât let them define Christianity, morality or reality by their relative standard because then youâll be talking at cross purposes. Donât let them back you into a corner defending yourself. If they claim to have evidence, theyâre the ones who have to provide it for their claims, not the other way around. Make them. Nearly 100% of the time they cannot and will just evade your question or submit evidence of a baseless, personal nature.
Lastly, be honest enough to admit we cannot âprove Godâ by their standards of touching him and measuring with scientific means but also forceful enough to say that by those same standards, they cannot disprove God either. We can know God is real by observable means beyond our own conversion. The known universe testifies to his reality in creation, history confirms his incarnation, archeological and historical evidence confirms the Bible narrative which means Godâs Word is true.
âFor what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.â - Romans 1:19-20
An atheist cannot prove gravity by giving you a cup of it, yet any intellectually honest one will say they know it is real by the effects, by the observable evidence on the universe and humanity. They canât show you the body of Christ, they canât say he did not resurrect or disprove he was God in the flesh. Donât let them get you so worked up you forget that theyâre the ones with no evidence yet all the bluster. In the end itâs not about winning the argument but trying to throw a stone in someoneâs shoe. What we cannot do, God always can. Godâs Word does not return void.
âFor the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account.â - Hebrews 4:12-13
Apologetics is so important in a time when people claim to want discussion and evidence but really are about wanting control over others and to destroy faith. Put on the whole armor of God every day and know that while we can point people to Godâs truth, in love, it doesnât mean we shouldnât be any less firm in standing for said truth. Know when to walk away though and not keep engaging if their logic is simply divorced from reality because you canât converse with someone who isnât in their right mind. Donât get worked up with people who arenât thinking logically. We donât need to beg people to come into the kingdom, Jesus didnât. If they want to walk themselves to the gates of Hell, God allows them the free will choice and I think more Christians need to start accepting that uncomfortable reality. Point them to God often and always because regardless of the places you fall short, he will not and he knows what they need to hear.
âNo one after lighting a lamp covers it with a jar or puts it under a bed, but puts it on a stand, so that those who enter may see the light. For nothing is hidden that will not be made manifest, nor is anything secret that will not be known and come to light.â - Luke 8:16-17

People of tumblr, do not engage with @saracumulus She is promoting and engaging in violent, hateful rhetoric against religious people. She believes violent offenders are heroes and her comments are getting increasingly dangerous towards people she perceives as a threat without a shred of evidence to back up her twisted reality. My suggestion is to block and report her. I hope @staff and @tumblr take this seriously because the way sheâs speaking on here is two steps from violent words becoming violent action and we donât want a repeat of Cole Allen or any recent news stories. Please take her off this site.
If the story of King David's firstborn isn't proof that you can be pro-choice and Christian, then I don't know what is. People who claim the child of a rapist is still a gift from God completely ignore the fact that this story tells you that children conceived through sin aren't gifts and that the sinner doesn't deserve them. If God can do it, you should be able to do it to a non-living fetus.
Someone said "God also killed adults, so that means we should kill adults too?" I, of course, deleted their comment as they were being disrespectful. The story of King David's firstborn is not comparable to killing adults. Not once did I mention killing adults. Notice how I said "NON-LIVING fetus?" I may be a Christian, but I don't reject science. It is scientifically proven that a fetus isn't alive until a certain stage. Abortions are done before this stage, therefore not killing the baby. Faith in God should not be the rejection of science and God never told you to reject science. Plus, I was using the bible to disprove the rumor that even children conceived through sinful actions are gifts from God. Are you going to fight with the bible?
A person can choose to keep their rapist's baby, I don't mind that because pro-choice means choosing whether or not you want an abortion. But forcing a rape victim into having a child makes you no better than the rapist because you clearly support rape if you have this mentality and have no care in the world for the mental health of the victim. It is also cruel on the child because when they grow up and ask who their father is, they have to find out the horrible news that they were conceived through rape and the result of their mother's suffering.
It's funny how I see pro-"lifers" being upset about abortions because of how "cruel" it is but not about animal hunters who view hunting as a game, there being no laws for gun control to protect children and teachers, no one in the government trying to stop wars, etc. It's only cruel when it's a woman trying to take care of herself, right? Do you really care about what God thinks or do you care about having control?
No one is forcing the child to have the baby. It is still her choice if she chooses to go through with the pregnancy or not. Adoption is always something a mother can choose if sheâs young as well. Just because something is distasteful to you doesnât mean that the baby is any less deserving of life.
The tale of King David doesnât support your pro-choice narrative at all, itâs about consequences for sin. Bathsheba didnât choose to abort her child. She didnât believe David raped her so she went to a clinic and had the child removed. No, the child was actually wanted and David prayed for its life to be spared but as a consequence for David taking the life of Uria, Bathshebaâs husband, the child was allowed to pass through sickness. David laments over the childâs death but ultimately gives it to God, expressing that he will see his child again.
Christianity is not opposed to science as God is the author of science itself. He is the one who gave all people the capacity for reason and those who sought and figured out some of our greatest scientific discoveries were Christians themselves. Youâre actually going against many well-known scientists when you perpetuate the lie that the child isnât a life in the womb until whatever arbitrary stage you decide. Theyâre moving that needle closer and closer to conception. Right now the recognized stage is 6 weeks with a heartbeat but any Christian knows that life begins at conception so there is no point at which it is appropriate to abort that human life.
Saying itâs cruel to have a child grow up and know their father was a rapist so we shouldnât let the child have life is an absurd argument. There are a multitude of testimonies out there of people who survived the attempted abortion of their mother and many who were the product of rape. The last thing they talk about is wishing they werenât born because they have to live with one of their parents being a rapist. What they do talk about is that their parentâs choices shouldnât determine the value of their own life. Just because one of their parents was a rapist, does that mean they shouldnât have the chance at life? The answer is no and the argument ends there. Not to mention that 99% of abortions are due to willful sexual promiscuity and not rape which people like to use for this argument because it gives them more false moral high ground.
You equating the pro-life argument against abortion due to cruelty and saying that many wonât stand up for other forms of cruelty is just lumping in other forms of injustice you see a problem with. At this point youâre showing this is more about your personal ideological beliefs than actual Christian views. Because there is nothing saying as a Christian, if we support not murdering a baby in the womb, which is biblical we also have to support gun control and stopping wars which have many different facets and arguments not related to the pro-life argument and is the problem with you lumping them in together to make a blanket statement.
Lastly, Iâd ask you the same question as well, do you care about what God thinks or only your own ideological view because God makes it clear in his Word that every human life is valuable and life begins in the womb. To ignore that as such and twist His Word to fit your own purposes is wrong and unbiblical.
"let me tell you what you think"
Uh, you forgot to bring the evidence. My beliefs are not your strawman, coward.
Says the person whoâs made an entire tumblr out of strawman arguments, lumping all religions under one blanket and not having actual discussions but just cuss threadsâŠyeah everyone else is not bringing the evidence. Maybe itâs that youâve hardened your heart too much to heart it? Sometimes with people like this while Iâd like to have a meaningful discussion, Iâve seen others try and the person wonât even engage on a meaningful level. It truly does become âdonât cast your pearls before swineâ we pray for them but God gave people free will to make their own choices and there is enough evidence to prove who Jesus is, that Godâs Word is true and that your choices matter both for here and eternity. Itâll sound harsh but take it more as a sober warning, God is not mocked and if someone chooses to spend their time spewing this kind of hatred towards him, his followers and his kingdom, I fear for the fate theyâre bringing upon themselves.
"lumping all religions under one blanket" No, pointing out that all religions share a common fatal flaw: they are founded on bullshit.
"not having actual discussions but just cuss threads" Because people keep rejecting evidence that could save lives, because they prefer their deadly delusions. I do not remotely respect murderers. Tolerating the intolerable makes one intolerable.
"yeah everyone else is not bringing the evidence." CORRECT. Show me god.
"Maybe itâs that youâve hardened your heart too much to heart it?" No, dumbass, I do my thinking with my brain. My heart pumps blood. All evidence and reason points to god being a human lie.
"Sometimes with people like this while Iâd like to have a meaningful discussion, Iâve seen others try and the person wonât even engage on a meaningful level." You delusional fucktards refuse to recognize the reality our lives depend on. I offer meaningful criticism, and you reject it without reason. How can we have a conversation? Why are you choosing death for all?
"God gave people free will" Please provide evidence for god's existence. Please provide evidence of free will. Please stop making excuses to be wrong.
"there is enough evidence to prove who Jesus is" Yes, a delusional narcissist who got himself killed and was not resurrected.
"Godâs Word is true" Literally impossible. The bible contradicts itself and observable reality. You believe it is true because it says it is true? I could say all of my posts are true. But you don't accept that because it doesn't make you tingle, despite all the evidence supporting my claims?
"your choices matter both for here and eternity." There is no afterlife, you cowardly death cultist. Our choices matter because they affect the one life we have and EVERYONE ELSE we are sharing life with. Fuck you for killing us all.
"God is not mocked and if someone chooses to spend their time spewing this kind of hatred towards him, his followers and his kingdom, I fear for the fate theyâre bringing upon themselves." God sounds like an insecure baby. A violent abuser. You call that love, because you are selfish, stupid, greedy, and evil.
Bring evidence for your claims next time. I am still not your lazy strawman.
Explain things like âWhy are you choosing death for all?â And â killing us allâ because I have no idea what youâre referring to. Treat me like Iâm 5 and explain it to me here. The only way we can have a reasoned discussion is a mutual understanding of the claims being made and I do not know where youâre coming from.
Also would like to know your foundation for why you claim murder is wrong. Of course mine is Godâs Word, whether or not you agree with it is another discussion but Iâd appreciate knowing your foundation.
"let me tell you what you think"

Atheists will claim religion is the opiate of the people and that Christianity should be done away with because it harms peopleâs ability to see reality as it is. Then theyâll go on to say we need to hold people accountable for their actions and choices. By what standard? Your own personal morality? If you donât have an objective, outside yourself standard of right and wrong upon which to ground your morality then you have no basis upon which to call something right or wrong anyway. Christianity allows believers to say âthis is good or evilâ because God declared it so in His Word and by His standard and since God is the final arbiter of truth and reality, itâs not us that gets to be the final say but Him. Any human being who claims to know right or wrong or have a moral compass apart from God is in error because the heart is desperately wicked, only God can know it fully.
The idea that theology and science cant go hand in hand is absurd. Like yes I believe in the power of prayer but I also believe in furthering scientific research in order to solve complex problems. I believe prayer helps further the cause. It also gives hope and invigoration to continue the pursuit of answers for unsolved issues. The idea is simply absurd.
I believe that God can give me the wisdom I need to fix a problem, but He could give me everything and it wouldn't matter if I didn't use it. It's my life-it would defeat the purpose of creation itself if He were to just live it for me.
