Rules of Engagement

Due to recent issues with people not having basic decorum, I feel it’s necessary to establish some ground rules for interacting with posts on this blog. I want to keep replies open because discussion is important but if anyone cannot adhere to the following, you will be blocked. This isn’t about sensitivity or offense but part of being a Christian is also understanding that we shouldn’t let foul language go unchecked because no one should have to be continually exposed to filth. People shouldn’t have to scroll past degrading words and language to see a biblical debate. So, with that in mind, here are the rules of engagement:

No cursing - If you start using profanity, of any kind including with an asterisk to hide it, you will be warned to stop. If you do not, you’ll be blocked. If you can’t discuss with clear and reasonable language, do not comment at all.

No spamming - While I appreciate the support, I don’t need people clogging my replies with nonsensical new age word salad. By this I mean the new trend of going on photos or posts just to do prayer hands and put “Amen in the name of Jehovah Yeshua Lord Jesus God Almighty Father”, you get the picture. This isn’t biblical and it’s spamming. It will be deleted.

No personal attacks - Similar to cursing. If you can only descend to ad-homonym attacks and trying to undermine me personally vs discussing the arguments or topics at hand, you will be warned once and then if you persist, blocked.

For now these are the main rules of this Tumblr. I hope everyone will engage respectfully as there is no need to do otherwise.

250 years and the end of America

This 4th of July, I can honestly say, I’m not proud to be an American. We may be one of the last “free” countries but we’ve already sold that freedom. We’ve sold out our strongest ally in Israel, we’ve made deals with a terrorist state in Iran, we’ve capitulated to cultish ideologies under the lgbtq umbrella, daily we’re letting child sacrifice go unchecked through abortion and we’ve signed on to unholy amounts of surveillance in the name of “convenience”, all effectively making way for the beast system and the anti-Christ. It’s disgusting given all that God blessed this country with. Everyone saying “look, we’ve made it to 250 years, look how awesome a nation we are” doesn’t get how pathetic it actually is that 250 years is all it has taken for us to systematically destroy ourselves. Rome, the Aztecs and many others lasted far longer when they had far less than we ever have (not that I’m lifting up those cultures as any sort of moral paragon either, their destruction just took longer). Whether the problems were introduced from without or accepted from within at this point doesn’t matter, every single person played a part in what will be the collapse of one of the greatest nations on earth. All the while people are still celebrating as if the house isn’t on fire.

As an American I am still grateful I’m here rather than anywhere else but any Christian should understand by now why America isn’t in the Bible, because it’s coming to an end and will pass away. People can think this is conspiracy theory and loony to say but time is drawing to a close and the only thing that will save people isn’t a president or their worship of a national structure but repentance and putting their trust in Jesus, the only One who can save. He will come to set things right. If you’re still sitting on the fence, time is running short. Pick up a Bible and seek the Lord while he may be found. If you’re a Christian, be about your Father’s business. Pray for the nation, pray for people to come to Christ. And pray come soon Lord Jesus, come soon.

I think it sends exactly the message they want it to. It’s just whether anyone will get it. Honestly they’re saying the quiet part out loud more and more these days but even when they do, people just dig in harder vs taking the chance to look at their choices and being used like puppets for others agenda. It’s sad but people need to get it that God sends no one to hell, they walk there themselves and shut the prison gate, he just seals them in that decision.

One of the biggest sins of this generation is chosen, willful ignorance. It’s having more knowledge and truth at your fingertips that other generations bled and died to give you access to and what do you do with it? Ignore it on purpose and twist it to fuel your sin. Call evil good and good evil. The way you can find any number of posts here and elsewhere spouting complete utter nonsense that has been debunked time and time again but the evidence doesn’t matter when the argument isn’t about proving fact, it’s about changing the heart, something only Christ can do. Any one person is no better than another, even a Christian knows this. The difference is where you get your wisdom and place your trust. If it’s not from God and in Christ then it’s sinking sand that will fail you in the end.

I think one of the funniest abortion stances I've heard was from my parents neighbor. He's a like, hard-core libertarian viking larper guy who is very tall and very fat and very bald.

He believes a fetus is human with a soul, but also its "basically attacking the woman's body" so if she wants to get rid of it, that's "basically self-defense". He compared it to shooting a home invader. So he supports abortion not as healthcare, but as killing a baby in self-defense

The replies on this should scare people. When you can devalue a human life to the point you make it virtuous to commit murder in the womb, then anything is game even outside the womb. I’ve even had people justify abortion because the majority agree with it so guess we should all be followers. It’s become illogical nonsense because in the end this isn’t even about the abortion itself, it’s about them having to vindicate abortion so that no one will then come against them for whatever sin they want to commit in their own personal life. People believe the key to free mutual sin is mutual affirmation and in a sense they’re right, it’s why we’re basically back to Babylon. But this isn’t freedom or fulfillment. They’re walking into a jail cell they built and locking themselves inside when the key to freedom was in their hand the whole time. It’s sad but this is one thing no one, especially Christians should back down on. A life is a life no matter the circumstances.

Disclosure is not something to ignore.

“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” - Ephesians 6:10-12

If you’re not aware of what they’re doing with the Disclosure Day film and the whole “alien” narrative in general, you need to be. As Christians this is important to be informed about because they’re not being quiet about it. Spielberg and Coleman Domingo gave an interview with Fandango where they basically said the quiet part out loud. They talked about becoming something else by inviting in this new knowledge and Spielberg setting his film in the modern day because it was a “central part of creating a belief system.” They’re not just here to entertain you. They’re here to undermine and change your belief, your faith, the reality of God’s existence and his authority. Even the interviewer said “you’re preaching to somebody.”

This feels like a push and pull between one side and the other. Trump releases files and then seemingly trolls everyone with the aliens.gov website being about illegal immigrants. Yet the ufo-ologists aren’t giving up on disclosure. You have Spielberg who appears to be revving up the idea that someone will disclose with or without the government’s approval. The message reads aggressive: reality is coming whether you welcome it or don’t. This truth will be revealed to you and they believe it will usher in some utopia, that’s why their fervor grows ever stronger.

In another interview done with some of the cast and Spielberg he’s making it clear this has a theological element. That likely is in the third act he’s concealing and he plans to completely undermine faith in God. He reveals that Jane’s character says at one point in the film “I was raised to believe in a supreme being, and now you’re going to show us actual supreme beings.” She says, “The world can’t handle both.” He’s created a narrative where Christian faith is based solely on how you’re raised and that aliens are potentially the creator, the supreme being, the god. It’s disgusting heretical nonsense.

Watch the final trailer. This is the devil’s lie from the beginning. God didn’t create you. Your purpose isn’t to know him and make him known but you were potentially made by something else, for something else and for the advancement of your own desires. Doubt God. Think God is withholding knowledge from you and you have to seek it for yourself. Satan can give it to you because he’s kind, he’s generous where God isn’t. Don’t buy the lie of the garden. They want you to invite in demons, to think it’s harmless, good even. That this is the next step in human evolution. But it isn’t. It will lead to your eternal destruction.

We need to educate ourselves and know the biblical refutations for these things now because after disclosure isn’t the time to know them, the lies will be too prolific by then. People already buy it now. We can’t be the Christians who deny the devil and his ability to control this world and lie to the degree of producing bodies and proof that will seem convincing to those who want to believe it. Continue to draw close to God and rebuke this deception from the pits of hell. Even as we pray he calls the church home soon, that doesn’t give us an excuse to not be wise in the time we have left.

“Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” - Galatians 6:7-9

The lie of “deconstructing” faith.

Anyone who says they “deconstructed” their religion and stopped believing in Jesus because of it, did not believe in the first place. Don’t buy the lie that you could ever truly come to Christ, know what He’s done for you in saving you from your sins and then walk away. Once you’ve understood the complete guilt and weight of your sin, how unable you are to reconcile yourself, that God was exceedingly merciful to send Jesus, who came in obedience to the Father and paid that debt in full on the cross so you could spend eternity in heaven upon repentance…yeah, no false, easily de-throned argument will ever wrench that person from God’s hand. Because they’ve tasted and seen what God has saved them from and what little the world can offer.

People can have their slips, going back to sins they thought they’d submitted to Christ or struggling with the validity of a claim someone puts forth as truth but actually isn’t. The difference is a person who claims to have believed for a long period of time and yet when presented with a few false arguments so easily “abandons” religion. But they’re not abandoning Christ. Because as I’ve said you can walk away from false religious piety but not Jesus himself when you’ve understood who you are in relation to who Christ is. People can sit in the pews for years and never know salvation. Just because they repeat scripture doesn’t mean a person is saved. Remember the demons knew who Jesus was and Satan himself quoted scripture, the difference is they don’t obey it nor give Christ the authority he’s due as Lord. Regeneration and revelation is for the heart truly submitted to God’s will, for His purposes. So don’t let people who claim to have been Christian or to have gone to church for 10, 20, 30 years but then suddenly decided because they “deconstructed” that it was all a lie, to walk away, derail genuine pursuit of Jesus.

As the title implies, if Bill Maher can make one of the most coherent defenses of Israel and why antisemitism is on the rise to a ridiculous level, him being not the most morally stellar person, then all the more should Christians understand these things. It’s shocking that many arguments I have for Israel’s place with God are not against secular individuals but against so-called “Christians” that were always meant to stand with them. When even Maher can see that the only thing both sides of the political isle agree on is hatred of Israel, of Jews, a people group so small they make up a nation the size of New Jersey, the explanation can only be because they are God’s people and the hatred comes from a sinful rejection of God. Watch the video and prayerfully consider all the facts as well as the biblical principle that support for Israel is a Godly thing. You can disagree with governmental choices and still wish for the salvation and triumph of the people. They’re not mutually exclusive.

I’m going to recommend everyone go and listen to the podcast History That Doesn’t Suck and their episodes on the Holocaust - 202-204. Truly did an incredible job of covering the history and not glossing over the indescribable horror committed against Jews. If you come away after listening to this thinking anything except that the Jews are one of the most if not the most persecuted ethnic groups in the world, that they are God’s people and he still watches over and protects them no matter the evil committed by sinful men and this history is sadly something people today are trying to repeat, you’re just not listening. Seriously, go listen, no matter how hard some things are to hear, we need to know them.

Idc what you think about the holocaust or jews as a whole but the pharisees who conspired to kill Christ are not God’s chosen people.

You can, and should, say that they deserve mercy just as Christ has been merciful on sinners like us, but you cross a very real, very heretical line when you, as a christian, say Gods chosen people are the group who specifically deny that Christ was the Messiah.

The Jews as a people were chosen by God. That’s literally in the beginning of the Bible. To deny it is to deny the foundation of Christianity because we’re grafted onto the vine. Without God’s choice of Abraham and the Jewish people, we would have nothing. Without Jesus being born a Jew, we would have nothing. God choosing them has nothing to do with each individual person’s choice to reject Christ. Israel as a nation is blessed by God. They are his people and his second coming is for them. It’s actually far more heretical to deny their place as God’s people than it is to point clearly to what God’s Word says.

“For you are a people holy to the Lord your God. The Lord your God has chosen you to be a people for his treasured possession, out of all the peoples who are on the face of the earth. It was not because you were more in number than any other people that the Lord set his love on you and chose you, for you were the fewest of all peoples, but it is because the Lord loves you and is keeping the oath that he swore to your fathers,” Deuteronomy - 7:6-8

This matters because it reflects how God keeps his promises, no matter our sinfulness as humanity. While salvation ultimately does depend on repentance and forgiveness through Christ, God’s promise to redeem the people of Israel will be fulfilled because it’s about his covenant.

“For just as you were at one time disobedient to God but now have received mercy because of their disobedience, so they too have now been disobedient in order that by the mercy shown to you they also may now receive mercy.” - Romans 11:30-31

Their partial hardening is temporary until the time of the church is over, which is coming soon. The Bible is clear on this. When Jesus comes again they will know he is their Messiah and turn to him. It’s the covenant made to them. It’s our responsibility as Christians to pray for them and to be grateful that we were extended an invitation at all to the wedding feast. Don’t reject those who came first, for they are the only reason you have a seat in the first place.

I feel almost patronizing saying this but when Jesus was crucified is when “jews” came to exist. Before that it was people who (allegedly) believed in God and those who didnt. The pharisees and their followers maintained that the veil was not torn and Christ was not the Messiah, the son of God. The rest of us, the elect, recognize that Jesus was our savior. Its a really simple distinction.

Jesus is a Jew. He is a Jewish Messiah, born in Bethlehem, a place in Israel. So they very much existed before his crucifixion . You’re welcome to be an antisemite, there’s plenty in the world. But to put Christian rhetoric over it while also being vulgar is disrespectful to the Lord and to God’s Word. Slapping the word elect on things doesn’t make you special and it’s not meant to make you sever yourself from Israel who the promise of salvation was given to in the first place. I pray you’re delivered from this demonic deception, because that’s what it is.
