Translated into over 50 different languages and sold in over 40 countries, this is the magazine to beat and the dream job for any aspiring writer. Fashion designers beg to have their clothes featured in their articles, models starve themselves just so they can get on the cover and the celebrities can’t wait to give the magazine a tour of their home closet just so they can be on their pages.

Following the dedicated photographers, editors and writers of the magazine is a TV crew. Poise is about to be put on camera for the world to see in an all-new way! A reality show will follow the employees of this booming company to see how each month they come out with an amazing magazine, not to mention to follow the lives and drama of it’s writers and other workers. Sex, lies, backstabbing and betrayal are not just topics in the magazine. These employees are living it. So grab your laptops, a notepad and make sure you come to work looking presentable because the world is watching you!

I am excited to announce that thanks to my graphic admin Kristin, our theme and graphics have gotten a re-vamp!Â
We have changed the quote in our promo from “Fashion is temporary. Style is forever.” to “Sex sells. And let me tell you, business is doing good.” My goal when I first started this RP was for it be a smut based reality tv RP. Sorry this took me a while to reply, I was out of town for a bit. We don’t have an age limit, only a minimum age of 18 since this is a NSFW/Smut RP.Â

Marina “Mari” Kelly • 18 • Bisexual • Intern (Whole Office) • Ariel Winter
Marina Kelley, grew up in the the bible belt. She is the only daughter and child of widowed Pastor Jeremiah Kelley, her mom having passed away when she was just eleven months old.  As a child she was beyond sheltered, never allowed to attend a public school or play with other children her strict dad deemed troublesome. She was home schooled her entire life by her father’s best friend and assistant pastor, William Turner. Who was too hands on with little Marina, who he had coerced into keeping his secret.  A secret that Marina kept out of fear of what the man would do to her if she spilled the beans. Her mouth stayed shut for over a decade, only to open when allegations of William’s perverted behavior came crashing down on the church and those who were tied to it.
It was the backlash of the scandal that motivated Marina to get away from the church, her father and all the religious freaks who inhabited her town. So on her eighteenth birthday, with a few suit cases and only a few hundred dollars to her name, she ran off to California, only staying there a few months before following her friend over to Florida. Where she quickly found herself working in the sleaziest strip club her and her friend could find. It wasn’t what she wanted to do but she couldn’t complain all that much, it put a roof over her head, food in her stomach, and allowed her to save up for her first car. All of this further pushed her to chase her dream, shortly after enrolling in the local community college to take courses in graphic design and photography, she was brought in as an intern to one of her favorite magazines, Poise,  whose office happened to be fifteen minutes up the street from her.Â
