Pros and Cons of having internet friends

Pros:

They’re there for you when no one else is

They don’t judge you as harshly as the people you know irl (or not at all)

You can relate to them

You’re friendship isn’t based on looks/race/sexuality/gender/age

Cons:

You may never be able to meet them in person

it is also said that wiggling your toes and moving your fingers can help regain your full mobility faster

also, when OP says “don’t open your eyes” it is serious, let me explain:

while asleep, your breathing is very different than while you’re awake, you are consuming way less energy, so you breathe less.

in sleep paralisys, the part of your brain that controls your conciousness and your senses will be awake, but the part that controls your body and lets you move will not.

with this decreased breathing rate, your concious part of the brain will believe you are having difficulty breathing because something is preventing you from, which can lead to a hallucination, which will probably show something you are very afraid of sitting on your chest or strangling you.

if this ever happens to you, wiggle your tongue, your toes, and your fingers, this will help you wake up, but even if it is the middle of the night you should not try an go back to sleep, because it could happen again.

to prevent them you can try sleepinng on your side and preventing having your arms above your head while falling asleep.

sleep paralisys is very scary, please stay safe, and when it all pases remember that it is not real, and that you’re ok.

A Miver Merry Christmas to my bestistististist friend ever

I don’t know how many of you know bookofspoilers so here’s a few words synopsis: she’s practically the one of the most amazing people to meet ever and can talk about anything with her. If I weren’t directly across the country I’d give her hug. Maybe I might get the chance to one day. 

I met her online more than a year ago, this will be our second Christmas together, honestly it was chance and so random. We ended up in the same chat room and we got to know each other and apparently couldn’t get enough of getting to know each other so we started our own chat room and exchanged skype usernames. Now we talk on a weekly basis, sortof, I sometimes am the bad friend that doesn’t get on for days >.< And that one time I didn’t get on for six months without telling her, though I did post a hiatus notice on my blog. 

bookofspoilers is the kind of person you want to do everything with, fangirl over shows, watch Netflix marathons, build pillow forts, eat and possibly share Nutella. My fandoms and fangirling is much more fun when she’s around. I’ve stuck around in the RP community because of her, really. 

I know online friendships are great, and sometimes don’t work in real life, because the screen is compatible and simple. But I believe this is the type friendship that would be better in person okay, cause she’s too awesome to be so far away. 

Thank you for always being there friend, you and River, cause River’s got to be in too. And your Ten, don’t forget about Tenny, ‘cause you are pretty much one. And with that I must say Merry Christmas! I should have your present by now, contact me.
