I’m glad Bill got Clara’s happy ending, only better because she actually got to kiss the girl.

I’m pissed off because Moffat erased all of Simm!Master’s character development from The End of Time, in order to make Missy the only “redeemable” one.

YES last week I thought this Master was somehow from pre-EoT and would thus make more sense, but since he’s clearly post-Eot, I mean…

Oh God, YES! Same feelings. To me this is even more unfair than to rob Missy (and mostly us) of their ‘standing together’ moment.

The last thing, i promise. Missy didn’t betray the Doctor, she didn’t kill him. It was an actual story of pure mutual love, and will forever stay that pure. We can make up as many headcanons as we like now - we have plenty of room for that. All those years they were together. The vault. Her, living in his Tardis, even if for a short while. Them, agreeing that all they both wanted was to stand together. The Doctor heard that from her at least. She was his last memory in that sequence of all people he loved, separated from the rest of them. And finally, the Doctor saying “what will you die for?” to both of the Masters. And then Missy, dying for him.

To bring Simm back if Chinbill ever wanted to all that has to happen is that he comes back after the time war before this 2parter or that he didn't regenrate after Missy stabbed him. Also I'm kinda disappointed the drums weren't there but at least it was finally explained by Moffat (who I totally thought was just gonna say screw explaining it) also that ending with Bill and Heather is almost the exact same as Clara and Ashildr. I mean is Moffat actually capable of not reusing stuff?

Yes! I mean yes to the first sentence! To me it almost looks like they are in some kind of future agreement - to kill off Missy and to bring back Simm!Master. I know, it is most probably paranoid and not true. But it all looks oh-so-convenient. He just got stabbed! He even has time to go back to Tardis and arrange everything he might need. So there are 2 obvious windows here - he can go back to whatever future plot with any future Doctor, just because he had plenty of time between End of Time and this. And also - he can just not regenerate. Also, the question that bothers me the most - if he killed Missy, his future self - will it mean that he’ll regenerate into something else now? Or if not there is a huge time loop here, where he is destined to go over this episode of killing himself again and again. Or maybe there were other regenerations between him and Missy? Why are we so sure that Simm!Master regenerated straight into Gomez? None of them remembers it. Also, he was literally dying in the End of Time, not able to regenerate. because ‘ressurection went wrong’. And then he kills Rassilon (ok, attempts to kill him) and in return Timelords just decide to cure him and let him go. i mean, WHAT? And finally, if he really wanted to kill Missy, and all his future selves to prevent them from helping the Doctor, he could have just died, really honestly refusing to regenerate. Then there would be no Missy at all. Well, my point is, in any case it is much easier to bring him back now, than to bring back Missy.

the following opinion is obviously purely subjective, and only concerns the master’s story, not the finale as a whole. ok. no, actually after watching the ep, i take some of my previous words back. i’m still dissappointed, i still feel like it was stupid, meaningless and diminishing. but it makes sense, i can see how it makes sense. and yeah, in this way it’s tragic. the master will always be in the way of the master, constant self-destruction, ouroboros - a poisonous snake biting its own tale. forever. and that’s one of the reasons i’m so in love with the character. because this awful thing is relatable (at least to me). the doctor not knowing that she was going to stand with him is even more tragic of course - there is sort of no way out of it now, because that was the ultimate chance to become friends again, and from his perspective i don’t see how it can be possible to give another chance after that. but this part was essential, again. let’s face it - they can’t be friends and travel together, because that would finish the master as an antagonist. the DW universe just can’t afford to loose one of the doctor’s greatest enemies. i’m sure we all anticipated that there will be no happy ending for them. why would people love their story if there was no conflict? no decent writer would kill a conflict that good. the thing that really REALLY dissappointed me though was  the fact that my favourite episode of the master actually standing with the doctor in the end of time was kind of erased. yeah. yeah, the master was after rassilon there, but he still sort of saved the doctor, and that was a conscious decision. also master (this particular master) didn’t kill himself to hurt the doctor when he had a chance, even then it was only a game, so why do it now? it should be obvious to him that commiting suicide because of the doctor is definitely loosing.  and finally, omg, it looks like moffat wrote this master for everyone to hate him. a misogynistic pointlessly cruel emo twat. haters would argue that he’s always been like this. partly, yes. but there was at least a different scale of cruelty. when a villain kills everyone on the planet, or plots to break a hero’s heart - well, that’s a villain, he’s bad, feel free to hate. when all the evil is just in offensive remarks and petty childish deeds - well, that’s a twat for you.  not worth hating.  the alarming thing is - i still like him. i love him, even like this. of course i do, always will. but that’s a personal thing and doesn’t mean that i suddenly lost my brain and don’t see all the shit.  also none of them regenerated. i know the master said that missy will not be able to, but hey - there is a window there, they can both come back at any time. they’ve seen worse.

Could you draw a younger Missy (Like younger M Gomez) in a leather jacket and then the Master (J Simm as he is now or back in 2010) with an opened hoodie, beard and his laser screwdirver. Maybe he's wearing a t-shirt with κύριος (roughly means Greek for master) written on it? Sorry this is a super big request and if you don't want to take it on I understand. Hello, my dear anon! Thanks for your kind words! Wow, your request is super detailed :) Unfortunately, i can’t promise anything at the moment, but i will definitely keep your idea in mind, and will try to draw at least part of it in the future. I hope that’s all right with you. About last episode... I’m not sure when did you send this to me, because i’ve only discovered this message now, but for me the last episode was the first part of the finale. And i loved every second of it!!! I mean, Mr Razor would have become my favourite character, if he wasn’t already my favourite character (in a way):) All his lines were absolutely brilliant! I now use the line about bad tea in my everyday life, i just can’t help it, it’s hilarious. But my favourite thing was, probably, the Doctor, finally showing his feelings and adorably fanboying the Master. I will never get over it, really. It was like a dream come true.

Ok, so this is my second art swap. This one is for one of my favourite fandom ficwriters - @zabbers. We agreed on a prompt “Twissy in the Shalka!verse with cyber!Missy” (or something like that). For those of you who have no idea what Shalka!verse is - please, google Scream of the Shalka immidiately! I hope you won’t regret it :) But basically, the Doctor builds an android that contains the mind of the Master. And for some reason, this is one of my favourite ideas ever! I’m a huge fan, and I was super excited to find a fellow fan in @zabbers. Hope you’ll like it at least half as much as i like your writing, darling!
