BACC queue temporarily halted cause I've got a little surprise upload for ya! This old goat here finally learned how to shoeswap, which means that I'm now cursed for all eternity to go around shoe/hand swapping all the meshes I own or will own in my game, welp. But for starters, a small thing.

Way back, @synapticsim made a body mesh called NuAM (and a corresponding teen version named NuTM), which is a nice middle ground between Maxis male and Lean Bodybuilder. It's shapelier than the standard Maxis AM body, but less muscular than LBB with the body looking closer in shape to the EA default. Perfect for when you want only slightly muscular sim guys! I swapped the hands with Tenshii's Smooth Hands and the feet with Bloom's, and made a few experimental recolors that I felt good enough about to share. So, in summary:

INFO: SynapticSim's NuAM bodyshape hand/footswapped with Smooth Hands and Bloom's feet + 9 assorted recolors with textures borrowed from Hat-plays-sims and Child_of_air: three braises, three union PJs, two 19th Century high-waisted underpants, + one bonus nekkid recolor. The nude rc and braises are categorized as swim & underwear, and the unions and pants are categorized as PJs. Fullbody, for AM (and enabled for YA/EM).

POLYCOUNT: Faces: 8536 | Vertices: 5522 (higher than average, but I've converted single accessories that went way above that number so meh)

CREDITS: Synapticsim for the original bodyshape; Tenshii-Akari for the hands; BlooM for the feet; Hat-plays-sims and Child_of_air for the undie textures.

i have converted two sets of glasses yes i have :) the other pair will come when i can take a picture w/o my game crashing lol. i plan to post a few more dls today or queue them. either way, you got five things coming!

there are seven swatches (the seventh is a tortoiseshell one i forgor so its not in the preview lmao) and the mesh is 1330 polys. for YU-EU, enjoy <3

My Skin Defaults

Hi! I’d like to share the default skin replacements in my game.

S1 is “Embossed” from Mouseyblue’s Sugar Skinset

S2 is “Melrose” from Mouseyblue’s Palm Skinset

S3 is the 7th skin from Mouseyblue’s Dusk Skinset

S4 is Pooklet’s recolor of the 7th Dusk skin

I also geneticized and townified a few of Mouseyblue’s skinsets (Dusk, Sugar, Palm, Soft Gold, Rising Sun, Ecuador) and Pooklet’s dusk recolors with genetic values to fit with the defaults. Download those here.

4t2 38 Faaeish Eyebrows

Hiya! This is my first time actually uploading something outside of a Discord server and a successful attempt on actually converting slider adjustable brows (that doesn't have an end of an eyebrow that rejects the thickness slider).

When I saw first saw this eyebrow blog post, "Maxis Match Eyebrows (Male + Female): Sims 4 CC (List)" (go check 'em out), I immediately fell in love, and had to (and, I mean HAD TO) all of Faaeish's existing eyebrows since a lot of them are very unique and beautiful (I hope y'all think so too).

At the moment, the recolouring system I used is Skittles' Hair System. But I would certainly try to turn them into other hair systems in the near future as I'm planning to upload more eyebrows. I'll also be receiving requests on Simblr and here :3 So, if y'all have a brow in mind, just hit me up. I'll try to convert them as fast as possible.

All brows has been binned and tooltipped. Two options: merged and unmerged. Hasn't been compressed yet.

☢️sims3melancholic's vincent skin 4t2 (beta)☢️

this is the skin ive been working on for a solid month or two now, and it's still pretty incomplete (some seams, stuff im not happy with but want to move onto other stuff for now) but it's generally in a decent enough state for the game now.

this was initially a test run of the sims tattooer but i realised that i needed to add a few bits to suit my tastes and overall clean it up a bit

the face is compromised of:

base = vincent skin

nose = taken from honeygold redux

lips = mouseyblue

eyelids = lilith

wrinkles = sclub

tones = trapping less-redded

baby, toddler, child and elders have parts of cartoon skinblend blended in

the body is compromised of:

female bodies = francesca skin also by sims3melancholic. the elder swatches use parts of cartoon skinblend blended in

male bodies = use vincent skin, again for elders i blended cartoon skinblend

tones = trapping less-redded

of course as i said, there's a few mishaps here and there, one thing i couldn't fix at all was pixelation (especially on the last tone) and i exhausted all possible solutions. i played around with it and i noticed that depending on what your sim is wearing, the pixelation is either better or worse lol

these are just custom skins for now as these were for personal use, but seeing as i've already shared it around with friends i figured i'd post it here 💖

lilith’s eve skinblend’s lips extracted to apply over pretty much any skin you want

I made these for personal use since switching to skins that didn’t have my favourite lips on and I didn’t feel like editing them. They match the tones for Evil Fantasy (all my skins really) and also Calm Depths by Dreadpirate.

The tooltipper thingy also decided not to tooltip them the way I wanted so the colour names wont show. Sorry about that :(

okay so the name for this is pretty funny actually, someone suggested I name it after hot topic and then I realised that one place in downtown thats based off of hot topic so. i just went with cold issue (and because I couldn’t think of another name and I’m sure you’re all tired of song references)

it was made by blending lip textures with Lilith’s matte lips and I added more shading and highlighting to some lips (you can see in the swatch some are a little more shiny whereas others are a bit more plain)

the colours are completely random but I added some in which are of trapping’s skin tone actions. some of the darkest colours are a little pixelated which I couldn’t fix. however, I edited and smoothened the alpha in hopes of fixing it just a bit.

Basic Linden Trees Redux + Default replacements

It’s finally here! Completely remastered set of linden trees.

There are 2 (two) download links. Choose only one!

Features:

Better mesh. Trees look less lowpoly and more fluffy keeping polycount at low.

Appearance/texture size. This is the main feature of the redux. In the original set, every tree had a 2048x1024 texture making the whole set weight about 23Mb, compressorized. Obviously, it was filling up the game memory quite hard. In this redux, the size of the whole set of six trees is 4,5Mb! And that is uncompressorized. Does it still looks good on closeups or near lots? Yes. The quality is the same. I’ve just used completely different technique making over all the trees, to achieve this result.

Sub.. substitutat.. substitutability! Yes, the new trees override the old ones, so you don’t have to replace all the trees manually. Just delete the old files from your ‘Downloads’ folder and put the new ones there.

Default replacements

As you may know, @lowedeus did an amazing job providing a set of DRs for maxis Oak trees, trees row and clumps of trees, replacing them with lindens. This redux comes with all these default replacements option already and it works the same as the old one replacing Maxis’ oaks, row of trees and two clumps of trees.

How to use

First, backup your neighborhoods. Just in case you accidentally load your game right after removing old trees from ‘Downloads’ folder without putting the new ones in. Because once it happens, all the trees in your neighborhood will be gone forever once the hood is loaded.

Please scroll further down for alternative ‘Default Replacement only’ Install Option.

Remove these old files from your ‘Downloads’ folder:

Please note, that the only difference between this option from the previous one is that it only saves you from having maxis AND custom trees in your ‘Flora hood deco menu at the same time (i.e. same 6 trees twice) in case of using the default replacements. There will be only Maxis’ Oaks replaced by lindens.

First, remove these files from your ‘Downloads’ folder:

EFFECTS (FX) CUBE DEFAULT REPLACEMENT

This is a small package with replacement for fx cube, that shows only in nhood decorating mode and disappear in other modes, so it’s very useful for skyboxes and skylines. No more needs the permanent ugly boxes.

The horizon\sky objects must be placed in one of the four corners of the neighborhood. There’s a box with an arrow that has to point to the edge of the corner, just like in these pictures (thanks @greatcheesecakepersona)
