What is it?

Unfortunately, it's not a mod for The Sims, but a family tree created with the Family Gem application, a huge all-in-one family tree that includes the Thebe, Capp, Monty and Summerdream all COMPLETE family trees in one file (all sims from The Sims 2 and The Sims 4 included).

The family tree will be updated over time if Family Gem app adds new helpful features or if EA adds more relatives.

If you like, I can also make versions for Pleasantview and Strangetown! Let me know!

Why did I create it?

The answer is simple! Do you want to recreate all the Sims from your beloved The Sims 2 Veronaville in The Sims 4 or add Sims from The Sims 4 to The Sims 2 but you get confused? Don't be afraid anymore, with this family tree ALL sims from both games are included and so you can check without blowing your head on the sims wiki or opening both games.

The download includes two options: either the family gem backup file or the gedcom file that in theory you can import into any other site or app that allows you to create family trees! So the gedcom file is better if you want to try using your family tree on other sites or apps if you don't like Family Gem or want to check everything from a PC site. (Family Gem is for mobile only.)

How can I install it?

If you download the .ged file, simply import it into any app or site that allows you to upload gedcom (.ged) file.

If you want to download the family tree for the Family Gem app, you need to:

- Open the app, go to settings and enable the option for advanced tools

- Then go to the homepage, click on the "+" icon and decide whether you want to upload the backup file or the gedcom file! At this point the family tree will appear on the app's home page!

(The gedcom version is without images and the .backup zip version has images)

Added the entire Thebe family tree (The Sims 4 + The Sims 2. And yes, the Laurents are included too.)

According to the wiki, Cordelia I from The Sims 4 and Queen Thebe from The Sims 2 are the same person. So I merged them into one person.

Added the entire Capp family tree (The Sims 2 + The Sims 4)

Added the entire Monty family tree (The Sims 2 + The Sims 4)

Added the entire Summerdream family tree (The Sims 2 + The Sims 4)

I added all the relatives that didn't exist in The Sims 4.

No, uncanon sims like Viola are not included.

I could have created the Summerdreams without forcibly linking Puck as Hermia's boyfriend, but for your convenience (and for better importing into other sites and apps) I made him her partner anyway. With Family Gem you can unlink them and it still wouldn't delete anything. But to find the Summerdreams you should look for them in the categories on the left, among the "people" of the family tree. Open the profile of a Summerdream member and from the options open the diagram. Their family tree will open up for you.

I added the death flag for deceased sims.

I've added flags for married, engaged, and ex-sims. (If any are missing, let me know.)

I added flags for biologically born and adopted sims.

Unfortunately, the app isn't very aesthetically pleasing, and I can't even change the colors of the cards. The fuchsia cards indicate women, the blue ones indicate men, the grey ones are for the unknown gender (or the sims who identify as something else). For example, Celeste Capp has the gray card.

In the categories on the left, in the "sources" category, I divided the sims by dynasties. But unlike The Sims 4, here I've given all sims TWO dynasties. One is the one they're born into, and the second is the one they enter after marriage. If you don't know what category a sim was born into because the game doesn't tell you what their maiden name is, they fall into the unknown dynasty category.

Fixed Octavius Capp's name (I had written Octavious).

Fixed some missing wedding flags.

I added two of Princess Cordelia Thebe I's pirate lovers that I had forgotten about.

I added the pirate lover of Grand Duchess Cordelia Thebe V.

I've added some basic information to all of them, like the game they appear in, their pronouns, their ages, where they live etch. I'm thinking of adding more information in the future, but I'll see how I can keep everything organized.

The numbers in brackets (for example (2) and (3) indicate the game (2 = The Sims 2 and 3 = The Sims 3)

I removed the death flag to sims who weren't actually dead, oops, my mistake!

I added the images to EVERYONE! If you don't like the image a sim has (for example, if you don't want Dilfbalt (TS4's Tybalt) but Tybalt from TS2 you can change it, I also uploaded The Sims 2 version too! And I did this FOR EVERYONE!

To change an image you have to do this:

Deleted some leftovers I accidentally created and forgot to delete while I was trying options.

Changed Mara Summerdream's lifestate from "Sim" to "Fairy", also for The Sims 1. I wrote "Sim" because Mara in The Sims 1 is a very normal sim with a fairy skin (costume). Since there isn't actually a "fairy" lifestate in The Sims 1, I thought "sim" would be fine, but the wiki lists her as a real fairy in her The Sims 1 ver.

Fixed Fia Acosta's name. (I wrote "Fla" instead of "Fia." Sorry, my eyes misread!)

FUTURE PLANS

Create three different (more "fanon") versions of this family tree (separate):

One where Viola is also in it.

Another one with Viola + the sims of Windenburg (because in my head and heart, even if Windenburg was not released to be Veronaville in its final version, for me it's like Windenburg was still connected as a sort of subhood/downtown.

And one with Viola + the Windenburg sims + the Academie Le Tour sims (since ALT is VV's university for me those sims belong to VV.)

Ultimate VV Dynasties BIG Changelog - V.1.4

Version 1.4 is a HUUUGE UPDATE! In which, in addition to many thumbnails being changed to more HQ versions, A LOT of essential information has been added in every sim profile card (taken from the Sims Wiki.) Please note that sims that do not have some information on the Sims Wiki don't have any here either. I will never write anything that is just headcanons, but I'll always and only include canonical information.

Please ignore grammatical and translation errors in some information notes. I'm Italian; English isn't my native language. However, all the important and primary information has been copied from the Sims Wiki, so it should be free of grammatical and translation errors. OTHER NEWS:

Changed the names of some unknown sims to make them easier to find in the sims list (I added "[Name]'s Wife", "[Name]'s Husband" etch, next to "Unknown [Surname]".

I changed Consort's name from "Consort Capp" to "Former Grand Duke Consort Capp" as the Sims Wiki says that was his title before he died.

I split the tags for The Sims Games because it bothered me that for example Goneril was an elementary school student in TS3 and appeared in the same list with the children even though in TS2 she is an adult, since the tag used to be universal for all the the sims. Now it's all separate. Adults will no longer appear in child lists and vice versa. The same applies to all other tags in any other category.

I've added a "Mixed Tags" section to all sims. I'll use it to add mixed tags. Currently, you'll find tags that indicate in which the sims game a sim appears in, the scenario hete they live in or where are they buried, AND from historical story, Shakespearean story, or other stories from literature, they come from.

Fixed some missing marriage flags.

Fixed some missing death flags.

Added descriptions to dynasties that have one, as well as more detailed information in some members' profiles card (who is the leader, who is the heir, the outcast, and the disinherited)

Added the dynasty crest to dynasties that have one.

Added Family Bios (Only to families who have them)

I'm reblogging again because when I updated it was like 4am for me and I don't know about the rest of the world-

I was reading Viola's Wiki and there are some things that confuse me. The false and fanon information has at least been removed, but there is some information that I don't understand.

The sims wiki writes a huge thing saying how Seth Bui overwrote Viola's character data. And so far we're fine (they understood it from the instance ID and ok)

They say it's possible she was a daughter of Claudio and Olivia because her character data is between them (The fact that her name is Viola, which as I have already said two thousand times, is the protagonist of the same Shakespearean story from which Olivia comes also, and that they finally wrote on the sims wiki too)

Seth's DNA is the same as the DNA you can get by mixing Claudio and Olivia's DNA. (Blonde hair: Olivia (although Viola could inherit it as a recessive gene from Isabella's ancestors), medium skin: both AND light blue eyes (Claudio)

But the Sims wiki also says that perfect DNA could be a coincidence BUT that the "remnants of Viola's character data" indicate that she had blonde hair, green eyes and dark skin... but where? In the .txt file? The wiki redirects to a note about Oberon that has nothing to do with this???

I also added some information for some Sims from The Sims Castaway and MySims, but since there are so few of them, I don't think it's necessary to list which ones.

Changed the names of some unknown sims to make them easier to find in the sims list (I added "[Name]'s Wife", "[Name]'s Husband" etch, next to "Unknown [Surname]".

I changed Consort's name from "Consort Capp" to "Former Grand Duke Consort Capp" as the Sims Wiki says that was his title before he died.

I split the tags for The Sims Games because it bothered me that for example Goneril was an elementary school student in TS3 and appeared in the same list with the children even though in TS2 she is an adult, since the tag used to be universal for all the the sims. Now it's all separate. Adults will no longer appear in child lists and vice versa. The same applies to all other tags in any other category.

I've added a "Mixed Tags" section to all sims. I'll use it to add mixed tags. Currently, you'll find tags that indicate in which the sims game a sim appears in, the scenario hete they live in or where are they buried, AND from historical story, Shakespearean story, or other stories from literature, they come from.

Fixed some missing marriage flags.

Fixed some missing death flags.

Added descriptions to dynasties that have one, as well as more detailed information in some members' profiles card (who is the leader, who is the heir, the outcast, and the disinherited)

Added the dynasty crest to dynasties that have one.

Added Family Bios (Only to families who have them)

Added Residential Lots Infos (Occupied lots only)

Added scenarios/worlds/neighborhoods infos.

Added many new tags, including tags that define how a sim died.

Added small biographies to sims representing certain characters in the Shakespearean universe.

Version 1.4 of the family tree is finally complete with all the info, I just have to write the huge changelog and upload the files to SFS 💀

Along with the Sim information (DNA, personality, skills, interests, zodiaca sign, aspiration etch), I also did something I wanted to do for version 1.5 instead of 1.4, but I couldn't resist! Even though this delayed the update... I'm pretty happy with it.

In addition to "grouping" the sims into all the Shakespeare stories they appear in, I'm also writing little biographies (of their roles in those stories).

Biographies can be found in their personal profiles or in the dedicated archive (which can be seen in the screenshot)

DISCLAIMER: Since English isn't my native language, and if I had written it myself, it would have looked like it was written by a 3-year-old, I relied on Google Gemini for the summaries, but don't worry, I've checked the information and haven't found any errors so far! I don't trust AI either, but for summaries it's great, and as long as I can verify the information elsewhere it's great.

I can't get it out of my head that Hero in Much Ado About Nothing (in love with Claudio) pretends to be dead because they believe she has committed adultery.

Now imagine if the plans of those who created the VV lore were to imply that Hero cheated on Antonio with Claudio.

And that Benedick and Beatrice are actually Claudio's children. Too bad that Benedick has Proteus Pantalone's (Isabella's paternal grandfather) dark blue eyes and not Claudio's light blue ones.

I'm almost done with the family tree, I'm having trouble because I'm noticing that the sims wiki has incorrect information about some sims linked to Shakespeare stories where they never actually appeared/they never existed in those stories 😭 I'm trying to put little info on everyone's roles in the various stories, so I'm doing research on the web and other Wikis 💀 (The Sims wiki also has a lot of missing information...)

I only have about to write the information to 16 sims and then I think I can upload everything to SFS.....if I don't think of any more tags and have to start from scratch AGAIN to manually put everything in each sim card.........

The downside of this app is that I can't do anything automated, I have to create all the information tables for EACH CARD myself and manually put title, descriptions and tags for each. Imagine having to do this 127 times for each sim card everytime 💀 The only convenient thing is that some notes are shareable across multiple cards and I don't have to rewrite them for everyone but the way the app works I can't use them for everything-

Today I discovered by chance that the Cordelias actually have a sim wiki page where it's written how they died and I had to tag the types of deaths for all 127 sims otherwise I wasn't happy.

I said as my mobile internet expired 💀 But I came back... only that without having internet I couldn't continue anything and I... tried to do this

I felt like something was missing, so I made all the thumbnails of the deceased sims black and white (I repeat, I couldn't do anything without the internet...)

But if you don't like it, don't worry, you can change them using the old colored thumbnails! They're still here!

It makes me laugh how Oberon is terribly lazy in The Sims 2 BUT athletic in both The Sims 3 and The Sims 4 (At some point in his life he just decided to become lazy apparently...)
