Phil Collins did a lot more than provide us with sick drum fills.
Carnival of Souls, 1962.
Outstanding indeed was the parade staged by Dewey Mousson, manager of the Knickerbocker Theatre, Nashville, for his premiere of “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.” Governor Gordon Brown rode from the Capitol to the theatre; seated in the back of the official car were the Seven Dwarfs “in person.”
Gabi Mann (8) has been feeding her neighborhood crows for the past four years. In return for their daily feedings, the crows started gifting Gabi with some of the following: an earring, a heart-shaped bead, LEGO pieces, buttons, rocks, and the camera lens cap Gabi’s mom lost on a walk around the neighborhood. Gabi keeps track of all the gifts, labeling them and organizing them in a bead storage container.
Promotional artwork for A Day at the Races (1937).
Maybe the most matter-of-fact promotional art ever.
Test Pilot (1938)
Happy birthday, Hal Ashby.
