obituary - a grave beginning // theĀ pilot is rly cute, dyingĀ to see more !!Ā
Follow June Crocker in her adventures among the living and the dead. Are we sort of burying the lead on things? Like the fact that June's parents were crushed by a satellite and she was subsequently raised by ghosts until her freshmen year of high school? Oh, uh, yeah, we guess we are! June was raised by ghosts and with her ghoulish surrogate family, she is doing her best to navigate the oddity that is high school. It's not like there's a swirl of mystery around her or anything...
What happens when General Trulish Gramplin seizes control of a theater production? Some drama, naturally. Click above to read the comic!
Iāve wanted to draw June Crocker ever since I watched the amazing pilot for Obituary: A Grave Beginning, so here she is. I was actually really happy with this one until I was a ways into the coloring. Turns out theĀ āflesh toneā marker I have looks a little more like Donald Trump on paper. By the time I figured that out, it was too late to turn back. Well, shit. Live and learn. While I get that sorted out (and maybe revisit this drawing), go watch the pilot. It needs your love.
Hereās a June Crocker for the 1-year anniversary of Obituary!!!!!!
Iāve seen the pilot, Obituary, a few times on YouTube last year (and, of course, this year). I have to say, it has the makings of a great animated series! I wish TV studios would green light this!

Give it a read!
First off, I love you channel!!! Your reviews are really fair and often forgiving, which is quite refreshing, and the movie talks are really fun to watch. I'm addicted! Would you recommend any other film related youtube channels to watch? (P.S. Have you ever watched the Every Frame a Painting youtube channel? It's also one of my favourite film channels on youtube, it would be amazing if you guys collaborated on something :P)
To address your PS first: I love EFP and am heartbroken that they havenāt been able to put out more videos. I think theyāre wicked sharp. Lindsay Ellis has a great channel and I quite enjoy ScreenPrism and NerdWriter1!
I loved your 2017 video! If you get the opportunity, I'd highly recommend Personal Shopper. It is without a doubt my favorite film of 2017, and perfectly showcases how underappreciated Kristen Stewart is as an actor.
Yeah, I missed a lot of good ones this past year. Iāve got an ever expanding list. I do love Kristen Stewart though!
Been going back and watching old videos of yours and loving them. Do you ever see movie talks coming back?
Thereās actually one that hasnāt been edited. Iāve just been so busy with so many other things at the moment. Itās silly really. I was trying to make something easier to produce, but then I of course had to make it a three-camera shoot immediately complicating things.
My fanart of June Crocker Ā from Obituary
iāve watched the pilot ofĀ āOBITUARYā, and it reminded me of gravity falls and paranorman a little, june was so cute in that pilot, i ship her with blatsy, also this pilot was uploaded (or made) by belated media

More mash-up fun!
The Ghost Boy
Oh cool. Sandy made it into a mash up!
Are there any universally loved movies you absolutely can't stand? What about any films that everyone seems to hate but you kind of like?
I never watched The Goonies growing up and watched it in my 20s and found it woefully boring. Also, Iām not terribly hip on The Fifth Element, try as I might to enjoy it. As to movies everyone seems to hate, but I kind of like, I mean, I did a whole video on Episode I because I thought there were a lot of good ideas in there.
Hello! I'm sorry if you get(got) this question a lot, but I never saw your answer so I thought to ask. I was watching star wars fan theories and found the "jar jar ultimate sith lord" inevitably. Since your "what if episode 1" came out before that theory, you were pretty much right in removing him. Since that theory came out, have you considered updating with that theory in mind? If no, I get it that was a big project for you as I understand.
I just think itās a goofy theory and nothing more.
Some of the many things that changed in the pilot. Twitter āŗāŗ https://twitter.com/belatedmedia Facebook āŗāŗhttps://www.facebook.com/ObituaryCartoon/
Oh, yeah, I was dumb and didnāt post that we did commentary on the pilot episode of Obituary.
