I was in mobiles company waiting in the queue, an old rich man came in on electric wheelchair. he has a complete paralysis that he only can move his fingers and tongue.
he asked me if I have knowledge about mobiles, I thought he was buying a phone for himself but he said: “this is for my Granddaughter she’s 13 her name is Binar, I want you to choose the most expensive one”, I told him: “it’s iPhone 6”, he said: “Is it a good one? will she be proud of me if I bring it to her?" I answered: "you mean she will be happy?" he said: "no, she feels shame of me being Paralytic since birth”, I was shocked!
He said: “I swear, she hates me and she feels disgusted because her mother helps me to go to the bathroom. and yesterday on her birthday I heard her friends asking her: “is this your grandfather you were talking about?” they were mocking my disability and calling me (stinky and disabled).”
I was angry and asked him: “if she’s an asshole why would you buy her an expensive phone?”
he said: “Son, I’m 78 I know i’ll die soon and I want her to feel happy when she remember me and I want her to talk about me in a good way after I pass away”.
he bought her the phone and asked me to write this message on the back of receipt:
“Honey Binar… I’m so sorry that I’ve this disability, I’ve nothing to do with it, it’s not my fault I swear, God created me this way, it’s only 2 or 3 days and i’ll pass away so I bring you this phone wishing you’ll remember me whenever you use it, and I chose the best phone I found so I can make you proud of me instead of being ashamed of me.
