A baby lynx’s life was saved by a house cat. When Nika the lynx was rejected by her birth mother for being too weak, an employee of Novosibirsk Zoo brought in her own cat, which had just given birth to kittens. Despite never having been a foster mom before, the cat accepted Nika as one of her own and nursed her back to health. Source

A Welcome Update: J. Crew Ludlow Suit with Wider Lapels

J. Crew just released a new Ludlow jacket with a 3.5″ lapel, a full inch larger than what the classic Ludlow sports. J. Crew calls these “wide lapel” jackets, but I think a better term would be “perfectly normal, just not scrawny” (nothing wrong with being a little wider than everyone else, amirite?).  Semantics aside, I think this is a huge step in the right direction, so I went to check out the new jackets in person.
