Gaudí has literally zero chill.
Winter sunshine.
Farm time.
Just three girls out on the town. (They all want to be the Charlotte.)
"Do you have a valid ticket, madame?" "Sure do. It's in my purrrrrse."
L's dad's in town, and they've gone for a father-daughter weekend to the beach. They've only been gone eight hours and I've already reverted to my default unsupervised setting: buying lots of fancy expensive food, and eating it while watching Project Runway. On a related note, did you know that pâté is automatically good for you if it's organic? A xx
Getting tipsy and cute at Midsumma Carnival. A&L xx
We went to David Hockney yesterday. 40% because we wanted to see his iPad drawings, 60% because we wanted to take advantage of the NGV's air conditioning. Both aspects were top notch. 100% would recommend. A&L xx

We spent a beautiful long weekend in country Victoria, staying at our friend Isabel’s parents’ vineyard. We ate so much beautiful food and saw so many beautiful old buildings and had a great time. Beautiful.
Also, we are very skilled at aiming phones in selfie mode, as demonstrated.

We’ve been in our new home for a few months now, and it feels more like home than any of the places we’ve lived over the past three years. Our neighbourhood’s friendly and bustling, our neighbours leave little posies of flowers and slices of apple pie on our doorstep, and and our beautiful big windows let in plenty of light, even on gloomy overcast days. We love being home now, and love having friends over to share it. A&L xx
Today I exercised my democratic right to meat in bread, aka the Democracy Sausage. L stayed home and exercised her democratic right to sleep in and not get rained on. A xx
From our trip up north a couple of months back.

Last night we saw Matilda at the Princess Theatre. We booked it weeks ago, and had been looking forward to it for so so long, and it lived up to the hype. The cast was wonderful, and Tim Minchin did such an amazing job with the music! Pretty tempted to go see it again! A&L xx
I sprained my ankle on Friday night, so have spent almost the entire weekend on the couch with The Great British Bake-Off and a magnificent cheese hamper I won through the Cheese Please festival. Thank you, Cheese Please, for improving my confinement immeasurably. A xx
