Happy Doctors Day - Reflections: As I’m nearing my goals and ambitions. One of the thoughts that I have struggled with is... Why am I doing this? Why am I in medicine? There have been times in the past where I wanted to be acknowledged, praised b/c of my work, there have been times where my work was presented by others as there own. That irked me, made me frustrated, mad. However, I had take a step back and self reflect. I had to look at the bigger picture, which is I WANT to do medicine b/c I want to help people. Thats the short answer. Regardless of who provides the care. Everyday is a struggle to purify my intentions. Yet that gives me happiness and hope. My accolades, worth and praise is from the man above. Keep grinding your work will speak volumes. Trust me when I say this when you are working hard and putting everything in to it, there will be times when you will fail. Its part of learning and growth, accept it, and learn from it. Don’t let that dictate your present or future. I see many IG/FB post people romanticizing medicine but NO ONE talks about failures - WHY? We are not invincible to failure. Medicine is not perfect - we are not perfect - yet we try and strive to provide the best service while continuing to learn, and grow as a community. Never stop learning, never get discouraged, if you do get discouraged take a step back and self reflect why are you in the game? You just there to play only or actually change the game entirely? It’s a long process. Keep hustlin. What have you struggled in? And what are you doing to cope and maneuver through those times of struggles? Much love

Reflection
SubanAllah this Ramadan flew by!
If you’re reading this, it’s NOT too late.
Keep praying! Keep hustlin back to your creator.
first and foremost, this reminder is to me...
Let there arise from among you a band of people who should invite to righteousness, enjoin good and forbid evil; such are the ones who shall be successful. (3:104)
A Thought
There will come a time, when our friends will fail us
There will come a time, when our own family will even fail us
There will come a time, when all these relationships will fall apart
The only relationship that will still exist and is eternal...
It is the relationship with Allah swt.
Keep that belief and yaqeen alive!
There’s always hope, if you rely on Allah swt.
No matter..
