One day I wanna get you so drunk that you don’t even remember your name. That’ll be fun as long as you don’t throw up and stuff.
Well when I’m not working next, I’ll go out with you and drink. I won’t throw up, I won’t let myself get to that point.

One day I wanna get you so drunk that you don’t even remember your name. That’ll be fun as long as you don’t throw up and stuff.
Well when I’m not working next, I’ll go out with you and drink. I won’t throw up, I won’t let myself get to that point.
You don’t drink? You should drink.
I drink ocassionally but I have work tonight so, just virgin for me this time.
So, do you want a drink or not?
Um, sure as long as it’s virgin.
Boyfriend.
OMG I am so bored, maybe a nap before I have to get ready for work. I am thinking of buying a puppy I need some companionship.
A puppy? Do you know what kind you want?
“I think most of them do, though,“ she said, even though her mother was one of the ones who didn’t. At least for her. “We were at the park and had bubbles and flower crowns and nature thingies. It was tons of fun.“ Frankie had done a good job planning a party for Diona, and Cal enjoyed herself a great deal, too, because she loved anything to do with nature, at least the flora side of it. “Really? Oh… I don’t know if I could do that. I never went to college or nothing. I bet there’s a lot of things they teach bakers at school that I don’t know. I don’t want to get in the way.“
“My mother only did them so she could show off, it wasn’t for us, it as for her. It was still fun, but you always knew it was more about her than us.” She laughed and shook her head. “That sounds like fun, I love flower crowns.” Giving a small nod, Charity just smiled. “I haven’t gone to school either, I’m all self taught. Or cooking show taught I should say. I watched a lot of Food Network and the Cooking Channel, it’s a little funny. But if you ever do want to help, you could always give it a shot one day when you’re bored. You can even bring the little one with you.”
“Uh-huh,“ Calliope murmured, nodding a little, though funny wasn’t really a word she’d use. “It’s just what mommies do. At least most mommies. I always want her birthdays to be super special and perfectly. Oh, no. I’m a bartender lady. I just like cooking and baking things lots, too.“
“I think mothers should do that for their children, unfortunately, from what I’ve seen, a lot don’t. What kind of party did she have? Are you into those themed ones?” Nodding, Charity smiled. “Well, if you ever decide to leave the bar tending life? I could use a helping hand at the business I’m opening soon. I thought there would be more bakers around here, I guess I was just a little wrong.”
“She’s gonna be four on Tuesday,“ Calliope said, feeling a pang of sadness. She was so caught up in how hard everything else had been that when she finally got to take Diona home after four months in the hospital, it never occurred to her that watching them grow up as just as painful. She blush a little. “Really? I didn’t really sleep last night. I had to make her cake and stuff.“
“It’s funny how fast they grow up sometimes, that’s what my mom used to say with me and my siblings anyway.” Giving a small laugh, Charity nodded. “Yeah, really, but it’s nice that you stayed up to make her all that. You a baker? Or do you do it just as a hobby?”
“Thank you,“ Cal said to the other woman. “…Little Bear would say thank you, too, if she wasn’t so sleepy. Her birthday party just ended. Now it’s nap time.“ Not just for Diona, either. Calliope didn’t get much sleep, so she was excited to get to have a nap of her own, too.
“Not a problem, I know how tricky it can be to juggle a child and other things at the same time, I used to drop a lot of things when I babysat back home.” She smiled and then perked up a bit more. “Aww, how old is she now? You both look like you could use a nap.”
“I, excuse me. Can you help me?“ she asked, adjusting her half-asleep daughter on her hip. “I dropped my phone and I can’t really get it with Little Bear all sleeps in my arms. …Sorry.“
“oh, yeah of course!” Smiling, Charity leaned down and grabbed the phone, holding it out to the woman. “There ya go, she’s adorable by the way.” Wiggling her fingers to the little girl, Charity straightened herself up.
I’m starving, actually.
That’s what I thought.
I don’t really think I’ll be able to eat now.
Well you have to, or there will be no shower.
Oh… Oh… oooh, ye-yeah I… Oh… I do have it, yeah.
Alright then, we’re all set. Let’s go get us fed.
You and… I? My wallet, yeah, why?
You and I. Together. And good, you’ll be needing it later tonight, I hope you still keep it in there?
Okay then I’m taking notes. Should I even ask what’s going to happen later?
Later? I think you and I should take a shower, it’s been sort of hot today, we could use one. I’m..assuming you brought your wallet right?
