I love my university, our beautiful libraries and I am so grateful that I can study here
How do you cope with failure? Love your blog xx
Hi, aw thank you! Thank you for your question 💕 I would say to do a few things.
Remind yourself of all the good you have done. One of my teachers suggested to write yourself a little note of how you feel after you achieve something. That helps me to continue to stay motivated.
Talk it out. I love to talk to my family so I get all my thoughts out and sometimes just talking helps me to rationalise why I am so upset. Plus, keeping emotions inside for too long is not healthy. Even going to a psychologist can be so beneficial.
Seek out answers. Why have you not succeeded? Talk to your teachers or tutors. If it is a school matter, examine your feedback carefully so you can understand from your past mistake. If it is a social matter, try to think of the issue from others perspectives but remember that you’re the most important person for yourself to focus on.
Be kind to yourself. Let yourself have a break. Have a bath, light your favourite candle and listen to some music. Keep in mind that you’ve most likely felt the way you have now and you’ve been able to recover.
You’ve got this ❤️ you have the world behind you.

✎ 06.16.2019 // study space (with no staging)! today I’m writing a four page paper on serving clients with disabilities, then I’ve got an ethical dilemma to answer. it’s been a homework filled day but I see the light at the end of the tunnel (for now)!!
458 | I drove home from Boston to New York today and am extremely pleased to announce that my dad greeted me at the door with a pizza
Currently Listening - Bennie and the Jets, Elton John
I want a home mostly just to welcome people into it. There will be bowls of candy for guests, and the cookie jar is full. I’ll always say “I was just about to make a coffee/tea/cocoa, would you like one?” when somebody walks in. There’s lemonade and iced tea made fresh on hot days. Once it hits That Hour and they start saying they really should be going, I’ll remind them that the futon is always open, and I’m making cinnamon rolls tomorrow. There’s champagne and sparkling juice hidden on a high shelf just in case somebody announces their engagement or their pregnancy or their new job while they’re here. There is an extra chair in the living room, at the table, and on the deck, and it’s for you. I want to be able to say “if you’re ever in trouble, come to me.”
A bullet journal spread from earlier in the week. It’s been a hectic few days, but I’m getting back on track with life now!
♡ I hope you learn to love yourself and you gain lots of confidence soon because you deserve it, you’re lovely ♡

Law School Update
Almost at mid-sem break in first year of law school 💕 It has been completely hectic with billions of readings, quizzes and assignments but overall quite good. Still trying to find my feet since I also moved cities 😊 To all you potential law students, keep working hard. You can do it! Nothing beats the satisfaction of walking into the first day of classes and knowing all your efforts are going to be worth it. Feel free to ask me any questions xx

The main reading room of the Czech National Library is probably one of my favourite places in the world ♡
you’ve gotta start romanticizing your life. you gotta start believing that your morning commute is cute and fun, that every cup of coffee is the best you’ve ever had, that even the smallest and most mundane things are exciting and new. you have to, because that’s when you start truly living. that’s when you look forward to every day.
small tips to become a better person
read more classic literature
read about history from different sources
watch good films
listen to classical music
journal more
go to nice cafes, theatre, cinema and art galleries more often
