I think if we get freedom, it’s going to scare the hell out of us.
We’ve been forced to follow all our lives, freedom will be like jumping into a cold lake on a hot day; it’ll be too much at first, but refreshing after adjustment. I hope it comes to us. I hope after all this crazy shit is over, we’ll get what we were originally promised.
I hope for that as much as you, but I have a strong feeling we are a long way from that...and there will be a very high price to pay.
Coin is going to shred us to pieces.
More accurately, the rebellion will shred us to pieces. But if we can raise an army with people who see the injustice, then we can stop people from enduring the same pains we have.
It's a crazy thought...if there was actually freedom...I don't know if I can even imagine what that would look like.

I missed you. I think Glitter calling me out on the inadequacies of my personality made it painfully more evident, at least to me, that during the time between arriving at the Capitol and entering the arena, I was less than a human being. Or at least acting so. I faded out. And while I was in the Games I couldn’t help but be desperate to come back to you to apologize for that.

Well I know nothing about this situation is ideal but...I am glad some things turned out the way they did.

I don't know if I would go that far, but some people had it hard. I just got roughed up a little. I don't think they were too concerned with me since District 2 isn't rebelling as much as the others.
Well I mean as normal as it could be, at least we woke up in nice warm beds… but I mean at least I don’t need to be the capitol’s whore anymore.
And I have noticed there was a bit more alcohol back home.
But it's always nice to find a silver lining.
