Have you ever began doing something and then when you were done with it and are about to show the world your masterpiece, it mysteriously disappears? You look and look but canât find it anywhere. And then when you calm down it suddenly hits you⊠âBella, you restarted the computer without saving your work!â
Frustration doesnât even begin to describe what I felt when I discovered that is exactly what I had done with the original version of this post. I still had a large, pink hand-print on my forehead at the time I was drafting this.
But, bygones are bygones. Everything happens for a reason. Perhaps mine was the universe telling me that was some crappy job Iâd done so⊠*shrug*
Yesterday, I was going through some property-for-sale-and-rent websites and one apartment stood out to me. It was love at first sight. I could hear a love theme song as everything else on the page went blur and I was left my love.Â
I have always dreamt about owning my own, very lavish home. And this one particularly just happened to carve a vivid sculpture of my dream home. It is one of the listings on Lamudi; an ongoing project by Purple Haze.
Beginning with the living room:
I can already picture myself with a voluminous self-help classic under the tall, white, reading lamp. The color combination is just incredible; not too bright and not too dull either. Itâs just right! The lighting of the room is simply perfect. Iâm in awe, especially of the spiral staircase. Iâve always wanted a flight in my home but with the other models I was a bit worried about their safety. They would be alright for the adults, but for the kids⊠These stairs, I like. Seem safe enough to me.
What I like best about this space is that it is not crowded and it gives the illusion of an open house. The living room and dining area seem merged but in a way that makes you think the two are separate at the same time; Merged but separate⊠Clever, huh?
Isnât that chandelier a marvel. I would definitely want guests over for dinner often just so I could show it off alongside the grey seats and light brownish table that matches everything on this floor. Cooking would never be a hustle anymore since I would actually look forward to it (unlike now when I keep disagreeing with Brian on who does dinner when). Plus⊠ITâS AN OPEN KITCHEN!!! A must-have if you call your house âmodernâ.
I wouldnât mind long days at the office knowing this is my reward at the end of the day. A nice, low-riding bed in a properly lit room with a spectacular view from my BEDROOM BALCONY! Hmm⊠breakfast is even more delicious seated under the warm, morning sun at the table right outside. Oh, and the low-hanging chandelier to the right of the room would come in handy when I want to lull myself to sleep with a good book :-)
Letâs head to the bathroom, shall we?
If someone were to walk in on Kim Kardashian and all her beauty in one of these, they wouldnât even think twice about staring at her. The glamour that these bathrooms speak is enough to steal her audience. I am not even sure what the colors on the walls are (grey and ivory maybe?) but I already like them! This is an excuse worth making as to taking long in the bathroom.Now these guys know what Bella needs.
Fantastic view from ceiling-to-floor windows, cosy bedside lamps for some reading and a screen to catch your favorite shows. Welcome.

The fronts and backs of the building. They are all so beautiful that I canât tell which ones are the front lawns and which ones are the backyards.
Now that is a location I would be proud to live inâŠ
