There were a few people he had no desire to see after the horrible time he had in Paris. Zarina was one of them, given how happy he figured sheâd be at seeing how she made him suffer, but he wasnât going to get rid of her anytime soon. He could honestly go without seeing someone like Tink again too but clearly heâd done something to seriously piss off whatever god there was in a past life.Â
He was sitting with his feet in the pool, honestly trying to relax when he thought he heard someone talking behind him. The voice sounded all too familiar, but he repressed a groan and simply rolled his eyes. âCan I help you? Iâm assuming youâre not just here to sign my cast.â
if there was one thing tink was used to hearing, it was gossip â back home there was always some sort of gossip running around whether it was with the housewives spreading morning gossip as she made her way out and about of her neighborhood, or at school where the following monday after a party, there was endless talk about what had happened during the weekend. which was why, when tink heard about what had happened to hook, the gossip had been music to her ears. one, because it made her feel a bit more at home but also because of what the gossip had been. hook and a broken arm? now that was something she had to see for herself, which was exactly what she did as she wandered around the complex looking for hook.
unsurprisingly, after about fifteen minutes the petite blonde was able to track him down by the pool. a smirk forming on her lips as she walked toward him, stopping as she stood right behind him. âarenât you a sight for sore eyes?â she asked, snickering at the sight of him. âno, not really,â she shook her head, âglad to know your common sense is up to date. honestly? just had to see if the rumors were true. though, now that iâm here, iâd love the name of the person who did that. iâd love to take them out for a drink or two. they did such excellent work.â
