My lil bestie Rachael @dobythedoodle is gonna have a baby!! I am honored to have painted her belly with all the fruits she’s been craving and some symbols that are meaningful to her throughout this pregnancy. Yesterday’s shower was so lovely and I’m so glad I got to connect with her and baby boy throughout this belly paint and throughout the shower. My cuddle buddy. My girl! Cali was more than a dog or a pet. We always said she was like a toddler in a dog suit because of how human she seemed. She understood SO much more than we could have ever anticipated and always told us exactly what she wanted. She was stubborn, so she fit right into our family…and she was also SO much fun and such a little comedian from the first day she had with us. She brought our family so much joy and there is a void where she used to be, but we got a chance to say goodbye today and saw her peacefully transition. We love you, Cali, girl. I cannot believe this was 8 years ago! It was for the @bodyfineart body painting competition and @tasheenamedina was my incredibly patient and talented model that let me turn her into a tree nymph. First gorgeous photo by @mstrartist and the rest are BTS! I hand painted everything and used @wolfefaceartfx and @ebaperformancemakeup.
