I'm happy that my prompt was detailed enough to give you an idea. As for pairings I dislike, not a fan of Bonnie/Damon or Bonnie/Jeremy. I'm not a big fan of Matt, he is useless tbh. Killing Matt is a favorite hobby of mine actually.

I ADORE Bonnie/Enzo. I think they are my favorite couple outside of Klaus and Caroline. I really like Freya from the Originals as well but I can take or leave her tbh.

Greetings Bellemorte! So. Fabulous list. I already have ideas rolling about. I have some questions though, some specific questions, perhaps you could enlighten me? Firstly: Historical. What are some of your favorite eras to see in fic? Second: Arranged Marriage. Does Caroline have to be arranged to be married to Klaus or can I play fast and loose with it? Third: Christmas/Yule/Hanukkah/Generic Winter Time/Other Not Listed? None of the above? Fourth: Smut! Anything you like to see? Don't like to see? Dealers choice? Eagerly awaiting your response while I plot and scheme.

Hello!! Okay let me think:

For historical, I'm pretty good with any time period before 1920. Once we start hitting WWII into more modern periods, I loose a bit of interest. However, I have a soft spot for vikings, so that is always on point for me. Tudor and Victorian are also really good options as well.

Arranged marriage, I would prefer it to be with Klaus and Caroline. I could do, Caroline/Klaus was married to someone else who was arranged and they kicked the bucket, but would prefer not to go down the affair path if possible.

As for the holiday, I'm actually more of a fan of fics set in winter and not necessarily a holiday fic. Now, if you choose to do Viking or something more nordic or another time period that has winter solstice vibes, that is perfect.

Smut- that's dealers choice. As long as everyone consents, then go wild.

WIP Wednesday

Me, having been MIA for months is posting a WIP Wednesday.

Any nervousness or queasiness eased away as Caroline peered at her new home, a sense of foreboding consumed her. She couldn’t place what caused the unease but something felt wrong. It wasn’t the dozen of people who were lined outside the door, waiting for a glimpse of Klaus’s new wife, or the fact that the massive house appeared well loved, if not slightly overgrown. Caroline would have said that the house itself appeared to be a home instead of an estate but she couldn’t stop the feeling that crept up alongside the back of her neck. A feeling that was begging her to flee, to listen to Elena’s advice and go back to London. 

Stop it. You can’t turn back now. Caroline thought to herself, pulling her gaze from the house and focused on Klaus, hoping to find some joy echoed in his blue eyes as he looked at his home. Yet, she was met with an expression of stone and weariness. Chapters of a life she didn’t know where passing through his expression and Caroline felt uneasy at the sight of it. She reached for his hand, taking it into hers and squeezed.

“I assume that you are happy to be home.” She started gently, pulling his gaze towards her and watched as his shoulders remained tense. Klaus snorted, shaking his head but said nothing. She tried not to let his silence irk her, knowing that the sight of the home he shared with another woman, a wife whose death he was blamed for, could only cause pain. Suddenly, Caroline wished they had stayed in London. Whispers of the Ton she could deal with because she knew and understood how the Ton worked. This was something she could not name and that terrified her. 

“Come. Let's get this over with.” Klaus told her once the carriage came to a stop and he pushed open the door, not bothering to wait for the driver to climb down from his seat. With a deep breath, Caroline moved to the open door and towards Klaus’s outstretched hand. She pressed her palm against his again and the small contact made her feel slightly better, until dozens of eyes fell upon her as she stepped out the carriage. All of them, the people that Klaus employed to keep his home running, looked at her as though they were measuring her self worth. Klaus was speaking, and yet Caroline could not hear them. She was far too busy taking in each of their faces, wondering how she was to remember them all. 

Then she felt it. A chill in the air, a shift from the previous warm summer sun, almost as though the sun had vanished behind a series of clouds. The scent of roses consumed her, almost as though she was becoming overrun by a bustle of them but not a single rose appeared to be anywhere near them. The hair on the back of her neck stood up and she felt as though she was being watched. Not by the members of the staff but by something else. Something moved out of the corner of her eye, and Caroline’s gaze moved upward. For a second, from the top of a window in the second story, she thought she saw someone but when she blinked, they were gone. She couldn't look away from the window, telling herself that if someone had been there, it was simply another maid or footman, not something that could cause the cold fear that currently gripped her heart. It wasn’t until Klaus’s voice pulled her from her thoughts that she turned away from the window.

I haven't been on Tumblr in a very long time so a mutual told me to come and look and I'm in tears! This is PERFECT.

Merciless was a fun fic to write and dive into the concept of how Caroline would have been after being a vampire for 1000 years. I'm so happy that you loved it enough make THIS MASTERPIECE.
