me when i cried for 2 hours over some implied l4d2 lore after the parish campaign. it’s implied that they either got experimented on and then taken out or they’re simply just executed by the military after being ‘rescued.’ i know it says in their wikis that they’re alive and under military custody but thinking about the latter… it’s enough to make me sob. i genuinely care about these guys, they’re like my second family… (besides ellis he’s my f/o)

so i was playing a workshop campaign called ‘the bloody moors’ with my buddy lumsi and at the final chapter and we had a little conversation while roleplaying as our respective characters (she was rochelle, i was ellis). basically it’s like:
