The Twilight Saga (2008 - 2012)
I honestly donāt think itās possible to read Bella as anything other than a lesbian, and I mean that in the movies, sure, but especially in the books.
While part of that is due to the fact that these books struggle to really sell you on Sparkle Boy and Wolfman as appealing love interests (mind you, theyāre fun characters), the way the narrative voice describes Alice and Rosalie, and the complicated feelings Bella has for them, is so much weirder and more sensual (for lack of a better term) than the rest of the text, it just sticks with you.
The Twilight Saga is so fucking bizarre. I canāt call it āgreatā in good faith but I still have brainworms more than a decade and a half later, so thatās something.
