Hiding and Healing a Belly Button Piercing

I am 15 years old. I got my belly button pierced on April 24th, 2011. This blog is to show you the progession of my piercing for anyone who is wondering how to take care of it. Also, my dad has absolutely NO idea I have this, so I can tell you how to hide it as I go through this process. I will post a new picture day by day and also any updates on how it looks and feels. I will also post videos of how to clean it and change it when the time comes. As well as your submissions and other piercings and videos I find or reblog! Hope this helps anyone! Day 13: I'm really dumb and went in a hot tub last night -_- I'm hoping it won'tt get infected. I'm still cleaning it twice a day and there is still only redness on top. Can't wait till summer! It's also a bit itchy

Day 12: Sorry for skipping so many days, I've been so busy lately! It's healing quiet nicely! Not tender to touch and I've been doing my best to resist my temptation to play with it! haha. Not as red anymore, mainly just underneath the top ball. Not many crustys, it's just dry from all the salt water. It's healing quiet nicely! :) It's just a tease because it's so hott and I have to just lay poolside while my friends swim :/

How would you go about doing your own navel piercing without clamps?

I really wouldn't suggest it, it's better to get it done somewhere. Maybe try looking it up though! Sorry I couldn't help.

heyy I just randomly found your blog. I'm 19 and I've had my navel pierced twice and your piercing looks fine so I wouldn't worry too much about knocking into it because I've done that lots. But you're not suppose to change your ring for 6 months AT LEAST due to risk of infection. I know that sounds sucky but better safe than sorry darling

I know. I'm not going to change it for a while, I really don't want it getting infected. Thank you though! :)

Day 6: Sorry I forgot to do one yesterday, I got kinda busy! Redness is starting to go down, but I hit it like 3 times yesterday and people kept trying to touch it. I had my first couple of crusties yesterday! haha Still sensitive to touch and still kind of red. I really want this to heal! I miss swimming! :(

Day 4: Last night when I was sleeping I slid my hand down my stomach really fast and it hurt soooo fucking bad.. I started crying! So right night, it's very red and even more tender than before, i think i may even ripped a little skin underneath the top ball because there was a little brown thing and I thought it was just crust, but when i tried cleaning it, it it didnt go away.. i think it's a scab.. -_-

anyway.. Very red. Very sensitive. Anddd I'm in love with it still haha!

I've been pretty good at hiding it from my dad too, I just have to make sure my shirts always down and isnt too tight or see-through.. I got it at a terrible time tho.. It's almost summer! I might have to go on vaction too -_-
