Repost ☝🏼☝🏼☝🏼☝🏼 👉🏼 I'm Prepared To Love You Like Christ Loves The Church
My beloved, Before I ever found your hand, I found my knees. Before I ever learned your love, I learned God’s. Before I ever called you "my wife," I first called Jesus "my Lord." For I have discovered that no man can truly love a woman God's way until he has first been conquered by the love of Christ. So when Heaven introduces us, I will not come empty. I will come carrying patience.☝🏼 I will come clothed in kindness. I will come wearing humility. I will come with hands prepared to serve before they are prepared to receive. For I am prepared to love you like Christ loves the Church. Not only when your smile brightens the room, but when your tears fill the night. Not only in springtime, but through every winter we must survive together. Not only in abundance, but when faith is all we have left. I will not love you because you are perfect. I will love you because God chose you. ☝🏼 You will never have to compete for my heart, because Christ already taught me how to remain faithful. I will protect your peace before I protect my pride. I will cover your weaknesses before I expose your failures. I will pray over you before I argue with you. I will wash our home with the water of God's Word, that every room would know His presence, every conversation would honor His name, and every decision would glorify our King. My beloved, You are not simply the woman I desire. ☝🏼 You are the woman I have asked God to entrust to me. You are Heaven's daughter before you are ever called my wife. Therefore, I will handle your heart like sacred ground. I will never intentionally become the reason you doubt your beauty, your purpose, or your worth. Instead, I will remind you daily that you are fearfully and wonderfully made, chosen, redeemed, and deeply loved by God. Come closer, my love. Let us become two worshippers before we become husband and wife. ☝🏼 Let our kisses never replace our prayers. Let our romance never outrun our righteousness. Let our passion always bow before God's presence. May Christ forever remain the Third Cord that cannot be broken. I long for the day I see you walking toward me, not simply dressed in white, but clothed in grace. On that day, I will not only place a ring upon your finger I will renew the vow I made to God long before I met you: "Lord, if You entrust Your daughter to my care, I will spend the rest of my life☝🏼 loving her the way Christ loves His Church." Until my final breath, I will choose you. I will pray for you. I will fight for you. I will forgive with you. I will grow with you. I will worship beside you. For my greatest honor will never be calling you my wife It will be becoming the husband that Heaven prepared for you. My beloved, I am prepared to love you like Christ loves the Church faithfully, sacrificially, patiently, tenderly, and forever. Until Christ calls us home, I will love you... God's way.🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼❤️
