The way I just re-read Vindicta myself and found my Dyslexia showing in so many typos/words scrambled in sentences AHAHAHA.

Also I can tell I switched my plot slightly after like the 5th chapter which also made me laugh. There's a slight desire to re-write the entire thing I won't lie, especially since I know my writing has improved over the last five years (wooow crazy it's been that long). Or at least edit the glaringly obvious mistakes. There's parts that are more corny than I would like them to be as well, which also had me dying. Granted I love corny so it's fine.

I also still have prompts saved that people have sent me, so I will be trying to tackle those as well without burning myself out on writing ofc.

ALSO ALSO. I've Never Seen The Sky This Color Before WILL be completed. It's only two chapters ofc, so I just need to finish the second half. Which btw I opened that doc and it's 158 pages long???? HOW did I do that AHAHAHAHAHA. For anyone who doesn't know that one is my Alienist WinterBaron fic.

this genuinely makes me so mad. some of you really don’t deserve fanfics. at all.

comment like this, besides the ai witch hunt, is one of the reasons why fanfic writers don’t want to post their fics anymore.

we write for free. whenever we can. whenever we have time. whenever we’re not too exhausted by life and responsibilities. we write for our own enjoyment. as a hobby. not a job. we update whenever we can. whenever we want. we do not owe anybody anything.

one of my favorite fics was updated after literal 13 years. but the point is that fanfic writers do not owe you anything. whether a fic was abandoned forever or updated after a decade or two is not something you as a stranger has a say in.

stop being entitled. stop treating fanfic writer as a content farm or a machine that produces contents for your enjoyment.

we’re not your employees. we’re not your slaves. we’re kind enough to share what we write for our own enjoyment with you for free. so either respect and appreciate us or be quiet.

Thoughts he remembered having, unable to identify who they were of. “That’s okay.” She said, and Zemo nodded again. Then came the familiar: “Let’s take a break.” He didn’t want to take a break. He just wanted to be done.

Chapter 9

No other noise but his own breathing could be heard. Zemo’s eyes were glued to the man beneath him, unmoving, eyes dull and unblinking. Eerily similar to the way he’d imagine someone with no soul would look. Is that what this was? Theft of one's soul? Their autonomy? His stomach twisted at the thought for a reason he couldn’t determine. There were unpleasant memories swimming through his mind, words and promises exchanged all throughout a life he could hardly identify as his own. His hand flew to his mouth, the bitter taste of bile strong on his tongue. Gagging, he pushed himself over, falling to his hands and knees and emptying his stomach. Vision blurry, sweat dripped from his forehead as panic started to creep into the edge of his mind. Was he going to pass out? Every breath didn’t feel like anything, empty and pointless. Sitting back on his heels, Zemo looked up towards the sky and ran a hand through his hair, thoughts coming and going in flashes. Nothing linear, all momentary snippets from a life he knew he had lived. But only the bad, it seemed. All until…
