Two covers for my favorite book ever, “The Third Policeman” by Flann O’Brien.

I’ve done two versions because I liked the pattern I made so much that I thought it worked well on it’s own, the top one imagined as a paperback and one below as a hardback.

Where it all began

Chronologically this is probably where my project began. A craft camp organised at Dartington in about 1979.

This is Michael 'Mick' Casson watching Colin Pearson throwing a huge cylinder during one of the demonstrations. I was about 18 at the time and probably rather cocky, but the reception from all the people at the camp was just the same as it has been throughout the project, one of warmth and friendship, generosity and enthusiasm. An introduction to my Potters Pictures

Photographing potters has interested me for over 30 years. Time now to start doing something with the pictures. From time to time there may be other pictures thrown in too but this is really about potters, ceramic artists and ceramicists.
