La reina Alysanne Targaryen, apodada Alysanne la Bondadosa y Bondadosa Reina Alysanne, fue hija del rey Aenys I Targaryen y la reina Alyssa Velaryon. Tuvo dos hermanas, Rhaena y Vaella, y tres hermanos, Aegon, Viserys y el rey Jaehaerys I, con quien se casó y a quien dio trece hijos.
En su juventud, Alysanne era una excelente arquera y cazadora. Amaba volar a lomos de su dragón Ala de Plata hasta los confines del reino.
Cuando su padre, el rey Aenys I Targaryen, murió en 42 d.C. su tío Maegor Targaryen ascendió al trono. Esto provocó una guerra entre el nuevo rey Maegor I y el hermano de Alysanne, el príncipe Aegon. El monarca no estaba al tanto de las conversaciones, pero su madre sabía que si de él dependiera, habría escogido a su hermana, la princesa Alysanne, que era dos años menor y con quien se habia criado pensando en que se desposarían algún día, según la tradición ancestral de su familia. Este enlace se encontraba desestimado, ya que la reina Alyssa temía la ira de la Fe, pues conservaba claros recuerdos del destino que habían sufrido sus dos hijos mayores cuando se anunció su compromiso.
Con trece años, la princesa Alysanne fue prometida a Ser Orryn Baratheon, el menor de los hermanos de la Mano del Rey. Al enterarse de que se casaría con Ser Orryn la séptima luna del siguiente año, Alysanne recurrió a su hermano, quien ordenó a la Guardia Real partir a Rocadragón; Jaehaerys y Alysanne les siguieron a lomos de Vermithor y Ala de Plata. A la mañana siguiente, el septón Oswyck los desposó en el patio de la fortaleza; se celebró un modesto banquete, pero por la edad de la novia no hubo encamamiento.

Además, entregó a la guardia un tesoro en joyas utilizado para construir un nuevo castillo, Lago Hondo, en reemplazo del ruinoso Fuerte de la Noche. En su periplo por el Norte, pernoctó una noche en un lugar que debido a su visita posteriormente paso a llamarse Corona de la Reina.
De acuerdo a fuentes semi-canónicas, Alysanne era muy cercana a su esposo, siendo su más confiable consejera. Su matrimonio duró cuarenta y seis años y fue, en su mayoría, feliz. A pesar de ello, en los anales de la historia se registraron dos distanciamientos que no duraron más de un año o dos antes de que Jaehaerys y Alysanne reanudaran su relación. La segunda disputa, sin embargo, fue notoria al tener sus orígenes en 92 d.C. en la decisión de Jaehaerys de dejar de lado a su nieta Rhaenys, la única hija de su difunto hijo mayor y heredero, el príncipe Aemon, en favor de otorgar Rocadragón y el título de príncipe heredero a su siguiente hijo, Baelon el Valiente. La reina Alysanne nunca se repuso de la partida de su hija favorita y murió menos de un año después que la princesa. La reina murió varios años antes que su esposo, lo que supuso un duro golpe para él; en sus últimos años se decía que el dolor de la partida de Alysanne se cernía sobre la corte como un manto. Fue incinerada y sus cenizas enterradas bajo la Fortaleza Roja; tiempo después, cuando Jaehaerys murió, sus cenizas fueron enterradas junto a las de Alysanne.
Ella tenia un fuerte sentido de la igualdad en una época en la que la mujer solo servía para engendrar hijos. Alysanne creía que los hombres y mujeres tenían los mismo derechos, no por tener una “verga”, pero tampoco creía que las mujeres eran superiores (Como en la actualidad se cree que un genero o raza es superior a otra por que ya habían sufrido de discriminación) solo quería lo justo para su descendencia.

Queen Alysanne Targaryen, nicknamed Alysanne the Kind and Kind Queen Alysanne, was the daughter of King Aenys I Targaryen and Queen Alyssa Velaryon. She had two sisters, Rhaena and Vaella, and three brothers, Aegon, Viserys, and King Jaehaerys I, whom she married and to whom she gave thirteen children.
In her youth, Alysanne was an excellent archer and hunter. She loved to fly on the back of her Silverwing dragon to the ends of the kingdom.
When her father, King Aenys I Targaryen, died in 42 AD. her uncle Maegor Targaryen ascended the throne. This sparked a war between the new King Maegor I and Alysanne’s brother, Prince Aegon. During this time Alysanne, her mother Alyssa Velaryon, and her brother Jaehaerys became captives on Dragonstone. In AD 44, when Queen Visenya Targaryen died, the three fled the island and took refuge on Driftmark.
In 48 AD, and after six years of reign, Maegor I died and his brother Jaehaerys succeeded him as King of the Seven Kingdoms.
In 49 A.D. the nuptials of the regent queen were celebrated with the hand of the king, Lord Rogar Baratheon; they both focused on arranging a suitable bond for Jaehaerys, and to a lesser extent for Alysanne. The monarch was not aware of the conversations, but his mother knew that if it were up to him, he would have chosen his sister, Princess Alysanne, who was two years younger and with whom he had grown up thinking that they would marry one day, according to the ancestral tradition of his family. This link was disregarded, as Queen Alyssa feared the wrath of the Faith, retaining clear memories of the fate her two eldest children had suffered when their engagement was announced.
At the age of thirteen, Princess Alysanne was betrothed to Ser Orryn Baratheon, the youngest of the Hand of the King siblings. Upon learning that she would marry Ser Orryn on the seventh moon of the following year, Alysanne turned to her brother, who ordered the Kingsguard to depart for Dragonstone; Jaehaerys and Alysanne followed on Vermithor and Silverwing. The next morning Septon Oswyck married them in the courtyard of the fortress; a modest banquet was held, but because of the bride’s age there was no bedding.
Jaehaerys I and Alysanne had thirteen children, Aegon, Daenerys, Aemon, Baelon, Alyssa, Maegelle, Vaegon, Daella, Saera, Viserra, Gaemon, Valerion, and Gael. Some said that Alysanne ruled the kingdom as much as the king and there was some truth in that statement. The queen was the one who convinced Jaehaerys I to abolish the privilege of the First Night of the nobles. Alysanne was also responsible for the new territory being ceded to the Night’s Watch, which later became known as the New Treat. During her stay in the North, as far as she arrived with her husband, her Silver Wing dragon and part of the court, she stayed in the Snow Gate castle that was renamed the Queen’s Gate in her honor. In addition, she presented the guard with a treasure of jewels used to build a new castle, Lago Hondo, to replace the dilapidated Fort of the Night. On her journey to the North, she spent one night in a place that, due to her visit, was later called the Queen’s Crown.
According to semi-canonical sources, Alysanne was very close to her husband, being his most trusted advisor. Their marriage lasted forty-six years and was, for the most part, happy. Despite this, in the annals of history two estrangements were recorded that did not last more than a year or two before Jaehaerys and Alysanne resumed their relationship. The second dispute, however, was notorious having its origins in AD 92. in Jaehaerys’ decision to set aside her granddaughter Rhaenys, the only daughter of her late eldest son and heir, Prince Aemon, in favor of bestowing Dragonstone and the title of crown prince on her next son, Baelon the Brave. Alysanne saw no reason why a man’s rights should be favored over a woman’s, and if Jaehaerys thought women were of lesser worth, then the king would have no need of her. Two years later and with the help of one of her daughters, Septa Maegelle, the kings were reconciled.
In 99 AD his youngest and most beloved daughter, Princess Gael, committed suicide by drowning in the Blackwater after becoming pregnant by a bard who abandoned her. Queen Alysanne never recovered from the departure of her favorite daughter and died less than a year after the princess. The queen died several years before her husband, which was a severe blow to him; in her later years the pain of Alysanne’s departure was said to hang over the court like a cloak. She was cremated and her ashes buried under the Red Keep; Later, when Jaehaerys died, her ashes were buried alongside Alysanne’s.
She had a strong sense of equality at a time when women only served to father children. Alysanne believed that men and women had the same rights, not because they had a “cock”, but she also did not believe that women were superior (As today it is believed that one gender or race is superior to another because they had already suffered from discrimination) only wanted what was fair for his offspring.
And if I did two because I thought they both looked good to be Alysanne’s face, I also know that many of us like Isabel Woodwille to be Alysanne (I still wanted to vary)
