The Kirstenbosch botanical garden is located at the foot of Table Mountain in Cape Town. In addition to the landscaped gardens with native plants, the area has a natural forest and fynbos with a rich biodiversity.
The King visits the botanical garden and speaks with experts from the World Wildlife Fund and the South African National Biodiversity Institute about the importance of biodiversity and nature conservation.
At the same time, Queen Máxima visits the Horti-Demo Center in Stellenbosch.
