On my new book Secret Santas, our protagonist does what ever he can to get the hot new game system for the holidays. Artist @elkowalczuk wanted to do an advertisement for it for the back of the book, and here it is! The comic is set in 1980s with the release of the Turbo Drive System. I wrote that the mascot was an “animal with attitude” which I though was a good generic catch all term for the kind of video game mascots we used to see. (Probably more in the 90s, but hey.) And now... escapism! This dnd game takes place in a city sitting atop a dungeon. I’m going to write the city notes in the big notebook and the three dungeon entrances in the small note books. This should conserve table space and be easy for me to manage, and therefore should speed up play. #dungeonsanddragons #dungeonmaster
